Is Gettleman up to something?

The only part of the story that could be true is that Gman talked with his agent.  The rest is just conjecture

Gman is not going to go around telling people that the team plans are  for cuts and trades.and nobody will trade for Stewart right now, in my opinion.

Sounds legit to me!!!! I mean it's not like gettleman isn't known for shooting his mouth off and talking too much, just look at him about cam a year ago, it took a whole season to actually get him on record as saying he was the franchises qb, and asked about hardy and contracts he says you know I don't talk contracts, so for him to talk to a draft pick and a position of no need at the moment for the panthers and basically lay out his vision as gm for the panthers for the next five years seems a real viable thing to happen.

I hate these my cousins uncles dad sisters friend was in mcdonalds and seen this guy saying that to the other guy it's total garbage! Next thread please

FWIW, my best friend plays in the NFL. He was at my apartment in Charlotte in early 2012 and we're playing FIFA when his phone rings. He answers it and it's Marlon McCree who was, at the time, Jacksonville's DB coach. I listened to their whole conversation and it was all Marlon telling my buddy how he's going to make him a pro bowler, gonna make him rich, that the coaches and GM all really want to draft him. Marlon said they'd use a 3rd round pick on him. Leading up to the draft he got no fewer than 3 other calls from teams all basically saying the same thing. What happened? He was drafted in the 5th round by a team in the NFCN. I mean, thank GOD for that, because I did not want him going to play in Jacksonville. But the bottom line is teams can and will say anything during the pre-draft process. Its part of the courting. I wouldn't put much stock in it.

He is the best RB in the draft imo so he will probably be a high 2nd round pick so I'd love to get Lache Seastrunk or Charles Sims a little later. I think both have the size, speed, agility and skills to be good RBs in the NFL.

I would also love to get De'Anthony Thomas later in the draft, if they dont get Seastunk or Sims. He isnt big but he is the fastest and quickest football player I've ever seen.
