Is Gettleman up to something?

I was hanging out with Ka'Deem Carey's cousin and he told me some interesting things. Apparently G-Man and Kadeems agent have been talking alot lately and he has serious interest in drafting him. Word is that if the panthers have a chance, they will draft kadeem in the 2nd round and make deangelo a june 1st cut and really make an effort to trade stewart. Not trying to spew out any exclusive information or anything, this just blew my mind when i heard it

I mean...if we dumped both Stewart and DeAngelo somehow and replaced with a cheap young stud in the backfield I wouldn't be mad. Carey will probably be a stud. WR in the first though and we still need a FA WR + secondary help.

The trading of Stewart is intriguing. If we traded away Stewarts big contract we could then afford Hardy.

I'd hate to see the package deal we'd have to offer to make a team interested in taking on Stewart's contract.

This.  No one will want that contract.  Especially, when said team could get the same stud that we want in the draft ahead of us.

    • These moves probably mean they plan to give Derrick Brown less snaps every game. He's in the game 99% of the defensive plays. That's way too much for a defensive tackle/end his size. Definitely think they overpaid a couple of guys, since they'll mostly be rotational and situational. Unless it works. Then they paid the perfect price.
    • Devin white hanging around as an intriguing latter free agency option. guy who always had a knack for making plays but was never consistent on a down to down basis.
    • What's next for Cowboys in free agency? Executive vice president Stephen Jones said the Cowboys would be “selectively aggressive” in free agency. They have added depth pieces such as defensive lineman Solomon Thomas, guard Robert Jones and running back Javonte Williams, while keeping their own in defensive tackle Osa Odighizuwa, returner KaVontae Turpin and punter Bryan Anger.   They attempted to make some splashes but were beaten out for linebacker Dre Greenlaw, cornerback Brandon Stephens and pass rusher Leonard Floyd.   Cap room and cash are not an issue. They have both. And the Cowboys don’t need cap room to sign pass rusher Micah Parsons to an extension. With a long-term deal, his 2025 cap number will actually decrease, even if he becomes the highest-paid defensive player.   Cornerback, linebacker and receiver are the bigger needs, and maybe backup quarterback.   Cooper Kupp has a background with new receivers coach Junior Adams. Could he become the No. 2 to CeeDee Lamb once the Rams release him (assuming he isn’t traded)? Perhaps the Cowboys will look to the trade market to fill those holes, like they did two years ago with Brandin Cooks and Stephon Gilmore. -- Todd Archer, Cowboys reporter
