Are you indicating with your projected lineup that Korver and/or MKG would start at SG/SF in lieu of Turner?  I'm pretty sure that if Turner ends up with Bobcats/Hornets that he would be a projected starter and not coming off the bench.

 

 

Yes, I kept MKG as a starter because with out him the team has no way to hid Jefferson on defense. MKG is so undervalued on this forum on what he brings to the team. He's literally responsible for himself and Jefferson on defense when it comes to pick and rolls. Sorry but Turner can't do that on defense, but Turner would still get about 20-30 minutes a game being the 6th man to replace both MKG and Korver. 

 

 

There's also a pretty good chance that Hawes would play more minutes or start at PF over McRoberts as well.

Bonnell on the radio, Piston's pick may be offered but there's some internal debate with the Bobcats if Turner would make that much difference. Philly is trying to get the Piston's pick, not the Portland pick. Bonnell act's like the Bobcats did indeed offer the 76ers the Portland pick and Gordon and it was turned down. 

 

 

Say's that MKG isn't available in no way shape or form. Says MKG isn't expendable for the Bobcats and is key to the team's defense. It would have to take a lot to get him from Charlotte. 

 

Bonnell said that what the Bobcats really need isn't available and he mentioned Aaron Afflalo. Guaranteed the Bobcats would make the playoffs with Afflalo.

 

Bonnell says that the Bobcats believe they won't get much better then they are right now unless they get some playoff experience, that the name change, PR and ticket sales are pushing the team to win now to create tangible results to help sell the team starting next season. 

 

 

Turner's camp isn't expected to be moved by Tuesday. 

 

 

Says the chances of making a trade at around 30%. Also see's the team as more likely to fall to the 10th seed then the team catching any team in front of them in the standings.

We're internally debating the Pistons pick? You've got to be shitting me with these guys, lol. Unfugingbelievable.

And if MKG is untouchable, then we sure as poo better bring in a scoring 2. Why are we trying to trade for another mediocre 3?

I finished listening and updating and Bonnell really made it seem like the Bobcats have already offered the 76ers the Portland pick and Gordon for Turner and it was turned down.

 

MKG being untouchable and the key to the defense is why I said that Turner wouldn't start at the 3 even if he was brought in. He'd be the 2 guard or come off the bench behind MKG and Hendo. 

 

I don't know how many different ways to say this, but the reason that Jefferson looks better on defense with MKG on the floor is that MKG covers Jefferson on defense when teams run at him with Pick and rolls.

If Bonnell is right and Philly turned down the Portland pick, thank you Philly. If it makes the Bobcats offer the Piston pick, then F u philly. I hate you even more now. 

 

 

 

From the sound of things, the best thing to happen might be Philly coming back to Charlotte and taking the Portland pick before something even more drastic happens. 

 

I would however laugh if the Bobcats made these moves and then lost a bunch of games and fell out of the playoffs.

 

 

 

Imagine that the Piston's fail to make the Playoff's this year and then suck really bad again next year, their pick could be the #2 pick..... Wow! 

Meanwhile we have the Bobcat FO talking about trading that sucker away for Evan Turner....wow!

Bobcats are a Clay Thompson away from having a very, very good starting 5.

PG- Kemba Walker

SG- Clay Thompson

SF- Michael Kidd-Gilchrist

PF- Cody Zeller

C-- Al Jefferson

6th man- Bismack Biyombo

Very good PG who can score & distribute. SG with unlimited range who commands attention that frees up your best player inside, or he will drop 30 on you. SF who is an elite defender & a top rebounder/slasher at the wing spot. PF who is young but extremely talented offensively. He's an incredibly athletic stretch 4 who compliments your primary player very well. Then a star at C who looks as if he can drop 25 & 10 in his sleep. Elite rim protector at the 6th man slot who stuffs the stat sheet with rebounds & blocks.

Kemba, MKG, Biz, Zeller, & Big Al are the core of this team & untouchable. It would take an incredibly lopsided deal to even get their attention at maybe Biz or Zeller. They aren't going anywhere. The only reason they are mentioned I'd because the teams are skiing for them. Charlotte isn't offering them.

Henderson, Gordon, Sessions, & the Port/Details picks are the assets Charlotte if trying to move. They still use those pieces to get a legit scoring guard & solidify the bench.

How would you feel if the Bobcats traded away Gordon and the Piston pick for Turner to make the playoffs as an 8th seed? Then the team would have to turn around and either loose him in the offseason or give him a deal making around 10-11 million a season. 

 

 

 

If the team stays together with the core, Kemba would be making 10 million, Turner would be making 10+ million and Jefferson would be making 13 million. Hendo's making 6 million season...

Henderson would have to be traded for sure headed into next season and the Bobcats would most definitely be in the luxury tax. 

 

 

Do you see that as anything more then an 7th or 8th seed in the east, cause I sure don't. That's a ton of money to pay a marginal team and is the exact reason the first playoff team got blown up.
