It doesn't make sense, but we can't give up a first for evan turner.

That link has the price to aquire Turner as a first round pick, It's going to take either

Gordon and MKG or Gordon and a 1st to get Turner.

It's why Rufus on Fire has pretty much said all the names mentioned in connection with the Bobcats are dead in the water as they don't think Cho would be willing to give up a first rounder for Turner.

Taking on Richardson isn't really an option because it handcuffs the Bobcats and what they can do in FA next off season. So the really only play here is the Portland pick and Gordon for Turner.

If the trade happens it will most definitely include a first round pick from somewhere.

I'd rather go for Greg Monroe if we are going to spend a pick on somebody.

MKG is the heart of our 5th ranked defense, but that 5th ranked defense isn't winning us game so we might as well send him on his way if we can get something decent.

Last I heard on Monroe was that Detroit took him off the block and aren't looking to trade him. Monroe also doesn't fit Charlotte's current system, needs a stretch 4 who can shoot the 3 decently.

Pretty much, expect a pick or maybe both to be gone in the next 8 days. If the Bobcats land Turner, also expect to see Hendo traded if they can find a decent deal.

I really wish we would keep the picks and Gordon. We could have a great draft.. Sign a top level free agent. I wonder what we could get for hendo and MKG.

I don't want Turner save the picks for the draft.

I kept telling everyone on here that changing the name to the Hornets would be the worst decision that MJ ever made.

I guess I can go into detail on that now. It's not the name change itself that's a bad move.  it's because now that he's announced the change and fan excitement is up there's pressure to make the transition successful on all levels. Making the playoffs and having a few playoff games would be extremely important to creating additional excitement and buzz in the region about the Hornets coming back. Showing Hornet fans (Non Bobcat fans, that haven't been following the team) that this will be a winning team from the word GO next season, so there isn't an empty seat in the house.

It's lead to the signing of Jefferson and it's going to likely lead to the Bobcats having fewer picks in the upcoming draft, maybe even none at all.

These trade rumors scream Higgins and MJ, hopefully Cho can keep the reigns of the team in his control and prevent anything stupid from happening.

If we go without having a top pick next draft due to trading them away we better come away with something good. Turner doesn't turn me on at all.

best that the team could probably do right now is Monroe and Turner and getting Monroe would have taken a first round pick, Bizmack and a few other players to accomplish. That's if he was really ever on the trade block to begin with.

Bass doesn't make since at all, he doesn't fit the team at all and plays really horrible defense. Turner makes the most sense but he isn't worth the asking price unless you get Young with him in a package deal. Monroe doesn't really make sense either, he would likely play the 4 or come off the bench and at the 4, he doesn't make sense at all because of the system Charlotte uses.

Aaron Afflalo might still be on the block, but it would take a whole lot to get him from what I've heard Orlando is asking for in return. (Think multiple first round picks or MKG and Detroits pick combined type of deals)

So pretty much unless it's something that comes out of the blue or Charlotte can get a third team involved, any trade that's  linked with Charlotte would be a stupid move and only a very short term helpful move that really damages the long term health of the Franchise player wise.
