Sad to say it, but...

Seahawks looked like they had 15 guys on the field on defense.

They did...The fans were on the field with them. Did you hear that crowd when Peyton was on the fiel?. No one heard Omaha!!!

As someone who lives in NJ, I hope that crowd was made up of more visitors than fans who actually live in NY/NJ area. Man, I would hate to hear that noise against my Giants or the Jets.

...I swear it seemed like I was watching the Panther/Cardinals playoff debacle... Fox never seems prepared...bless his heart...

There's no valid point in your statement. He won the playoff game with The Golden Calf of Bristol, won two games with the Broncos this year, won 5 playoff games as Panthers coach.

I recall a shutout of the Giants, a couple high scoring games with the bears and rams, a tough football game against the Eagles.

You just don't like Fox on a personal level. He's had a lot of success as an NFL coach. Two super bowl appearances with two different teams.

He never seems prepared? I guess that's why the Broncos have made the playoffs three straight years.

I remember a quote by Larry Fitzgerald after the playoff meltdown about how the team KNEW Fox would NOT adjust. Going for it on 4th was not as edgy as saying faking a fg right there. Element of surprise works because of that very reason. Its a surprise.

Seattle knew the Broncos were not going to change so that made gameplanning all the more easy.

...Fox is a choker...and a geezer and its my right to dislike his coaching philosophy....of course I wanted him to have more success here...like back to back winning seasons for starters...

...same old John Fox.

It's the third quarter, you're 29 points down (29 points), you've got one of the few half decent drives of the game going, granted you hit a snag and wind up with a 4th and 12, but at least you're still in decent field position...oh and did I mention it's the third quarter and you're down by 29 points?

Aaaaaaaand you punt :(

That was the point where I said "okay, it's officially over now."

Yes, John Fox is a good coach. Don't take this as a statement that he isn't. But the things that have held him back from ultimate victory before are still there, still active.

Oy :(

as soon as the first snap of the game went over Manning's head, I knew the Broncos weren't ready to play.

No matter who or what you put around Fox he will still lose because he refuses to change. Hopefully Rivera saw this and learned from it because too many defensive minded coaches are that way.

3 times in the playoffs in 3 seasons with Denver and once with The Golden Calf of Bristol. 3-3 record. Super Bowl trip. Conference champions as well as division in 3 out of 3 years. Not exactly the résumé of a "losing" coach. If he can stay healthy and complete 3 more years with Manning, and I find this hard to believe, he could be in the Hall of Fame discussion.

Scoff now, but this game was an aberration.

Exactly. He was gifted coach/qb Manning by Elway and still managed to blow it. Manning was going to have a rough night and then it falls back on coaching and it was over. Down by 4 scores in the super bowl of course Fox was going draw play on 3rd and 10 followed by his cherished punt.
