Sad to say it, but...

Fox needs to be fired. Peyton should coach the team himself. He'd probably have the balls to try and stay in the football game instead of conceding before the 3rd quarter.

When Seattle recovered the onsides kick after Denver scored, the game was officially over for Denver.  Time would not allow for Denver to lose one onsides kick and still win the game and that was in the 4th quarter.

After that, Seattle lined up in full pass defense and Denver could have thrown a couple more INTs or called run plays and simply get the hell out of the building.  I think conceding at that point was the correct decision.  There was no chance of coming back and only bad things could happen at that point.

Manning was effectively neutralized and when it came down to Fox to rally the troops and play a chess match of Xs and Os he couldn't deliver as usual. The broncos had no familiarity with the seahawks, who are pretty damn unique, so they didn't have personal experience to base anything on. If they had played them in the regular season this game might've been more competitive. Everybody on the field looked lost because Peyton was lost.

Actually Denver played them in the preseason. They lost that one 40-10.

I'm saying he conceded earlier than that, in the 1st half when the game was well within reach. There was a minute and a half on the clock Seattle had the ball and it was 3rd down and Broncos had 2 time outs. There, they needed to call one and stop seattle then get the ball back and get a field goal to get on the board and get some momentum going into the second half. It's the exact same screwup that he did at the end of regulation against the Ravens last year. AND What the fug was he thinking kicking to Harvin like that. I would've done a surprise onside kick there, if they recovered they would've gotten huge momentum going into the rest of the game, and even if they didn't it's better than Harvin getting a return, as shown. OR they should've just done the safe play and kicked it out the back of the end zone. Terrible decision by Fox to kick that weak a*s kick and let Harvin catch it off the bounce for the return.
