SB XLVIII: SEAHAWKS VS BRONCOS

Some things that were confirmed to me this game.

Defense wins championships. Given Manning and one of the best WRs cores in the NFL they put up 8 pts.

Good Oline is more important than good WR core.

Yet more than half this board screams for WRs and tell those of us in the OL camp that we need playmaking WR's.. Seriously name a better set of WR/TE's than Denver has, (Atlanta is close but Denver is 4 deep).. It could be Rice, Irvin, Carter lined up outside with Gonzo at TE and none of that matters if your OLine isn't good.

The problem is alot of peeps look at a playmaking WR and they see shiny rims. ESPN highlights, sexy plays, WOW factor.

No one really likes to watch OL men play. They are the parts that keep your car running. Something that isnt sexy or shiny.

There are people out there who would get shiny rims rather than fix car problems...

Manning's stock all time just took a massive hit. Like a tsunami to Japan type of hit. He's still one of the best 10 QBs of all time - but I no longer consider him in the top 5. His SB win was against Rex Grossman.

The Brady vs Manning debate is over now IMHO.
