I've lost count of big market players that we're over hyped their whole fuggin careers and paraded in my face.  People aren't used to seeing a guy from a small market take what they think is theirs and they get confused.  Fug them.

It is sweet, but to be fair... Quinn was a beast this year lol (which is not a knock on Luke at all)

You can find tweets like that from fans and media though.  I even saw a tweet earlier from a reportedly Panther fan saying Luke wasn't even the best LB on the Panthers......

Thomas Davis is pretty fugging good.  I guess we have the best two linebackers in the division.  I don't really think there's much of a gap between them.  Davis hits harder, Kuech gets more tackles. They're both great at playing screen passes.

Resolution:

The drafting of Luke Kuechly, while popular at the moment, would not be beneficial to the longterm future of the organization. Don't mistake me, Luke Kuechly is a talented football player, and he will likely become a solid pro, but he does not warrant a top ten pick. Recent history, Cost-Benefit Analysis, and level of impact would behoove the Panthers' Front Office to passover Kuechly in favor of another prospect.
