Only thing I have a problem with is your argument suggesting that Al Jefferson is fully 100% healthy...

So did his ankle magically heal up to 100% in two weeks while playing more minutes then he has all season or his becoming more efficient because he is averaging a whole six more shots per game since Kemba has been out and now making those shots at a consistent rate.

I'm not trying to butt in but even al said its gotten progressively better of recent. Said hes still around 85 percent. But I'm sure u seen that too if u watched the game tonight.

No I think it took him a while to get in basketball shape after the injury.

IMO he got hurt in TC miss most of that. Wasn't healthy with the ankle at the start of the season then was working his way back to basketball shape and like most new players on new teams it takes time for players to mesh together.

I think Kemba and Al were about to hit their stride together and then Kemba got hurt. That game against the Heat in the 1st half was the best Basketball the team was playing all year.

Al may be getting more shots now but I think he would have been getting about the same with Kemba as well. Kemba just got hurt at the wrong time.

You very well could be right. It will be interesting to see how they (Kemba and Al) gel together once Kemba is fully healthy with Jefferson hitting his stride.

We all talk about what the team needs to win.. well right now Jefferson is the team. We should be asking "what does Jefferson need to make this a winning team? "

Jefferson needs a shooter that is deadly from the corner to kick out to when he is double teamed. Anthony morrow comes to mind. Dion Waiters also intrigues me.

I view Big Al as our Tim Duncan and now we need Ginobli. Kemba can be our Tony Parker in some form but we need the slasher that can create his own shot and knock down the open J

We are not better without Kemba. Jefferson is playing at an amazing yet unsustainable level right now.

What Jefferson is doing is sustainable imo.  He's gotten better throughout the course of the year, and he's making it look easy.   It's not like he's hitting a bunch of prayers, he's creating great shots in the post.  He has great low post foot work, amazing hand/eye, and an endless array of  lost post moves/shoulder fakes.  I think his touch and rotation on his 15 to 20 foot jumpers are a thing of beauty as well.  Not only that he's gotten progressively better over the course of the season.  He may have a bad game or two, but 11 straight games of 20 plus, and 3 straight of 30 plus seems to indicate that he can play extremely well over the course of the season.  Seems like we got lucky and signed a talented experienced big man at the height of his prime to me.  As long as he continues to get in shape and doesn't get re-injured the Bobcats can beat anyone on any given night.

This team is definitely on the rise because it's not just Al.  There are good players and depth throughout the roster and we may end up with a winning season. Gerald Henderson is quietly having his best year as a pro, and Sessions does a great job running the point.  We might not win a playoff series but I expect to see a playoff win this year which is a good step for this franchise.

Traditionally in the past the Cats have started strong early in the year and then have faded as the grind of the season takes it toll.  This year they're improving through the course of the year, and team chemistry seems to only be getting better and better.  Not to mention this team is in phenomenal shape.  Everyone gets back.

Of course there are some flaws. Not being able to guard top NBA wingers/small forwards with consistency, and while we have good post defenders no one can step up and score from the block in Big Al's absence.  Which boils down to MKG just needing to get stronger, and needing to find one more low post offensive threat.

With teams cap and draft situation in the future the sky truly is the limit whether we have 3 draft picks or two.
