Greg Hardy waiting on phone call, 'crapload' of money

Dont know if anyone listens to Jay Mohr's sports show (really sucks, although I enjoy his stand up). But he had Kraken on last monday I believe . Every other word out of kraken's mouth was about how he loves being chauffeured around in his expensive cars, loves to flaunt his money and is waiting for one of the biggest DE contracts ever. Also, hes appearing on every single podcast trying to get his name out there. Add that to the fact that he has the biggest douchebag agent in all of sports, and i personally feel theres less then a 10% chance we retain this guy. And I feel letting him walk is the right move.

I still love the Kraken and hes more then deserving of the money. I have no problem at all with him wanting it/and flaunting it. It just wont be here.

Weird that gentleman said today you can't let a guy like hardy walk out the building. Wonder what he has planned

Maybe G-Man does have a plan, if so,i am anxious to see how he makes it work by signing Hardy, then Cam and Luke. I know he is one smart fellow but the cap situation looks like  it has the team restricked in their options,

if he wants to get paid what he's worth, he'll stay here.

if he wants to get paid more than he's worth he'll go to a team that'll undoubtedly do just that.

not really much more to be said

I agree.  From what i saw last off-season, Gettleman does not overpay for players.  If we are really fans of Hardy, we should want him to go get paid.

As some have said. Hardy got half of his sacks against Ryan and Brees in the final 2 games. Hardy is good guy. But it might be time to part ways. It seems the guy is showing he cares more about the $ right now then winning a SB. Greed doesn't win a SB. A team does. You can't build a good team without good players. And you can't get players without money to do it. If Greg wanted to stay and win a SB with this team. He would take a decent 6 year 50 million contract and leave it at that. But it seems his mind is made up. He wants the money more then anything. So if that is the case. Let him walk. We have bigger issues to deal with our Cap been in hell right now. Alexander and Addison and Horton may not be Hardy right now. But I'm sure one of them can start to show up at any time. We want know until we give the chance.

Hardy ties a franchise record for sacks, plays phenomenal against the run, slides inside when asked, and then people say fug him because he didn't have multiple sacks against the best o-line in the league in the playoffs?

C'mon guys, you can't judge on one game.

Anyone who thinks Hardy will NOT sign with the team who offers him the most money is crazy.

This contract will set him and his family up for generations potentially.

The CJ contract really fuged us over. So, since CJ is getting paid all this money, Hardy thinks he's entitled to equal or more.

However anyone with a brain will realize the resident buffoon Marty Hurney penned this contract.

The guy was playing against an all pro tackle. Even the best DEs in league can disappear when your playing against a guy can block you good. Give him a break.

So if this was the Senior Bowl he'd drop to the 3rd round.

I would not call San Fran line the best line in the league.  If he can't beat that line, he wasn't going to do poo against the hawks and def not the Broncos.  You can take one game as a point but there were bigger fish to fry after that game and the Hawks proved the 49ers weren't the big bad wolves but they seemed like it and the reason was Gore ran for big yards and Kaep didn't get touched.  CJ is the blame too but Hardy didn't do squat even in the first game at least CJ was nursing an injury.
