I'm in on Landry too. Probably not a 1st but if taken at any other point I trust DG.

Luv Landry. Doubtful he goes in first round I have seen some sites projecting to 3rd round. That would be too good to be true for anyone who could get him in 3rd.

I like the description I have read of him. Tough receiver with great hands.

I'm with you....but you're comparing what you're calling one of the "greatest catches in NFL history" (which I agree with) to an amazing play by a junior in college.  So essentially you're comparing something that's really awesome, to the best thing out there, and saying it's not impressive enough.

What I've always said I like about Landry is that he always seems to go for the ball.  That play was a great example.  I like the kid because he's tough and goes after it.  That's the kind of player I want on my team.

I want the same thing.  Give me a player that is going to make a play when we desperately need it.  I like LaFell but how many poor, but catchable, passes have hit him in the hands and turned into an interceptions?

I want a WR that can make a play.   If he can make plays like this.   Count me in on him.

Yeah man...I'm not going to back Landry with stats...even though his are really good. He's just an animal. If he's there at 56 then it's a no-brainer. Doubt he's going to be.

My take on the WR class:

Evans and Watkins are the cream of the crop but will not be there for us unfortunately.

Lee is good but fragile.

OBJ will be good but I see Ginn in him Idk why but I do.

Cooks might be the next D.Jackson but I am not for a wee man besides Robert Herein (reminds me of Smitty without aggression).

Adams and Montecrief will be good but they are not the answer.

Benjamin and Coleman, both are big WR but the raw factor and field stretching turns me off, might as well draft a huge TE.

Robinson and Matthews are great but the drops bother me, thanks Lafell for scaring me.

My favorite WR in this years draft would be Jarvis Landry. The qualities I see:

-strong

-aggressive

-great hands

-can run a wide variety of routes

-run blocking is above average

Landry is the most complete WR in the draft IMO and he reminds me of a faster version of Anquan Holding. If we draft him in the first round I would be ecstatic because he might not be there for us in the 2nd round. Landry has the same competitive fire as Steve Smith, I want him!

absolutely.
