Regarding Mike Evans

At the moment I am on my phone so can't post the links that easily, but last night I saw numerous mocks that had him outside of the first round and one of which had us selecting him at 28. Meanwhile, other sites have him in the top 10 or a top 15 lock. Did I miss something lately? I think it's unusual for there to be this much disparity between mocks.

Evans won't run a blazing 40 and doesn't seem that polished overall to my untrained eye. Any chance he slips to 28? Hard to say now, sure, and there are a lot of teams that could look to upgrade their WR position before us, but should we be pulling for him to have a below average combine so he falls into our laps?

Many of the plays he made with Manziel he could make with Cam and he brings the size we need at the position without a doubt. Just confused as to why some mocks have him falling and others, if I am not mistaken, didn't even have him in round 1.

Maybe the same thing will happen like last year for us. Star was my crush in October but I thought there was no chance in hell we'd get him after our late surge. Maybe the same mojo will work for us again since Evans has been my crush since October.

Everyone will view a prospect differently, some guys become completely enamored with a player and rank them higher than you'd expect, some just completely dislike that guy and rank him way lower.  Its all in the eye of the beholder.  I will say if he does somehow miraculously fall to 28 its a no fuging brainer we draft him.  One of his best attributes is working his way back to the ball that we'd desperately need when Cam starts scrambling out of the pocket.

The Jets are waiting in the cut for any top WRs. They're probably going to pick 2 WRs and a TE this draft. No way he makes it pass them, unless Watkins fall to them. Very unlikely.

Mike Evens is being projected as Vincent Jackson 2.0 thats why everyone is falling in love with him. Outside of that he is an amazing WR and works VERY well with scrambling QB's as evident at Texas A&M.
