Colin "Hypocrite" Kaepernick

Hahahahah I love seeing this sh*thead whine like this. He is so bad and he's saying he's going to exploit Sherman! Wow. Sherman definitely isn't afraid of anyone on that team (except maybe Boldin with his head butting...) and will continue to shut Krapernick down next year and for years after that. Did anyone else see Cam on NFL AM this morning?? He wasn't whining about penalties, headbutts, Kaepernick, etc. Great maturation because I'm sure that he would've been whining his rookie year. Please please please Gettleman get Cam some weapons.

When did Cam ever whine about anything during his rookie year??

He took every thing about the team and it's games in stride.

The infamous "suggestion box", was not during his rookie season; was blown out of proportion, and was not indicative of his season. Cam's been pretty straightforward about the teams challenges since he got to Charlotte.

I didn't type quite right with "whining" since yeah he didn't whine, but he did sulk quite a bit and was noticeably immature in some press conferences. He's been superb the past 2 years though. I love Cam and love his spirit but he did not present himself the best that he could his rookie year. You can't deny that.

Every team wishes they had Sherman on their team. You can't say that about Kaep.

Sherman is in Kaep's head and as a result he will throw Sherman's way more on purpose next year and Sherman will make him pay. Probably cost his team a victory in the process.

Exactly. I'm going to love to watch that. Kaepernick is horrible and Sherman could easily get 3 interceptions the two times they meet next year.

So please explain how us commenting on a "douche" is different from you commenting on "you lame mfrs", Mr. High IQ.

I mean in the real world, by the way, Mr. High IQ... not the fantasy world in the empty space between your ears.

Hey I have an idea, how bout you stop trolling internet forums and take your grandkids fishing or something you old fug.

Im sure somewhere there is a bingo hall with an empty chair just waiting for you.

Erectile dysfunction must be a bitch.

I got you.

Nonetheless, I think that was all overblown. Cam was fine during his rookie season during pressers.

I never heard him once criticize his head coach, coaches, or his teammates, despite the fact many times they were the culprit. Young players are usually susceptible to that, but Cam never did. That's whats important, that goes missing. You can't always be perfect out the gate, especially after heavy, repeated questioning.  I'm sure if Wilson or Luck were under the scrutiny Cam was (especially following the incredible losses), they wouldn't always look so perfect either.

Plus, Cam's not the first guy who hated losing, who was speechless after losses. They're many players like that (Michael, Kobe, Lawrence Taylor, and many other lesser players), however for some reason the media chose to pick on Cam for that. Thomas Davis cried after a loss during Cam's second season, but you never heard anything about that, right? Imagaine if Cam cried, the outcry (pun intended) that would ensue?

Cam's whole press conferences were overblown after the suggestion box. RG3 and Kaep have been worse (even in their rookies seasons), however you never heard anything about them (until their second) when they or their teams struggled statistically. In comparison, Cam's been a Winston Churchill compared to them.

Just look at Kaepernick's and RG3's actions (too much to list), and still they're still not as scrutinized as Cam, who was never as bad as them with the media to begin with. It's all mostly BS, unnecessary media distraction, part of his development. Sorry.

Nonetheless, nice James Jamerson picture/avatar. You're a bass player, or you just like Jamerson/Motown??

I'm 100% with you on all that. The media for some reason hates Cam when in reality I think he's one of the most mature out of the young QBs. Griffin clearly has an ego, Kaepernick dresses like a ghetto thug in his press conferences and doesn't answer questions well, Wilson has been good, and Luck has been okay, but no better than Cam. I don't really have anything against any of the young QBs, except Kaepernick, and not just because of the playoff loss. I hated him last year from the minute he took Smith's job. The best thing about Cam in my opinion is him giving the ball after a TD to a kid in the stands. I remember responding to a comment on some espn thing on the playoff matchup saying "Cam's an overrated, overpaid, thug" or something along those lines. I said, "tell that to every little kid who is ecstatic when he gives them the ball after he scores a touchdown. I'm sure they'd agree with you." Of course they couldn't repond to that. And what has Kaepernick done? Kissed his biceps, very mature... The way the media pampers Kaepernick, Wilson, Luck, Griffin is absolutely ridiculous when all the do is hate on Cam.

I'm absolutely shocked you recognized him! I play percussion mainly but Jamerson has gotta be the best bass player ever in my opinion. His lines and tone are just mesmerizing. I've had the fortune of knowing his son pretty well and all I've heard about Jamerson is that aside from the alcohol, he was a great man and a great father. Motown's my favorite stuff because of the Funk Brothers. I'm into jazz as well and other r&b/soul stuff (nothing after the early-mid 70s) but the Funk's just get me goin on every single Motown record. I collect records as well. Probably my biggest passion outside of football. How about you?

There is a bias against Cam in the press and I think it came from his towel pouting routine, less than solid post game pressers and his attitude at his first pro bowl game. They were set to dislike him anyway and that stuff just played right into their little game.

Well, I can't add anything you said regarding fans, the media and haterz, and how they view Cam. You said it all, and made some very salient observations. Good stuff!  :thumbsu:

What I find most amusing? Most of these guys just fill in the blanks, but you would never see them (cough cough) follow the team, and/or ask some one that does, or who is on the team, so they can actually know what they're talking about. And I'm including media. It just seems people comment on Cam, based off of what ever perception they have, or want to have of him? And they're glad to do so. SMH

Yeah, of course I recognized Mr. James Jamerson. And I think it's great  you know his son. You must be from South Carolina, or at least travel there? Lol. His son seems cool by the way.

Yeah, he was one of the all time greats, most innovative, influential and respected bass players of all time, along with the Funk Bros effect on a whole.

He, Benny Benjamin, and Earl Van Dyke; along with Jack Ashord, Robert White, Joe Messina, and Eddie Bongo Brown, etc., certainly led the way with the "Motown Sound".

FWIW: I'm a Marvin Gaye, Motown, Jamerson, Funk Bros fan. So that's how I knew. But even I, didn't really notice the Funk Bros [i knew about Jamerson, Non Funk Bros--Eli Fontaine Sax intro on What's Going On], till about 12 years ago, when Standing In The Shadows Of Motown came out in 2002. That was an excellent movie by the way.

And yes, most of my soul, Funk and R&B love ends in the 70's (with a few exceptions), as you. Lol

I love or appreciate all music (except classical really, though I still appreciate it, and like a few select tracks), with my emphasis in Soul/RnB, Jazz, Ole Skool Rap and Club music. I'll usually listen to more classic soul/RnB, Jazz, some Classic Rock, and Club/Dance music, before anything else.  Of course, Disco and Funk are sub genres of Soul/RnB, as Grunge, Metal and Hard Rock are to Rock. And I like some of those to.

PS: My dad used to be a drummer as well for a semi well known international band, and played along side some famous people. And I was in the music, writing business myself (amongst others). But I'll stop right there for the sake of anonymity. My own. Not that you would know. Lol
