I think Moncrief will be a sleeper. He's being compared to Josh Gordon. The only real flaw I can find in his game is his body-catching and his lack of high point catches. Other than those negatives, Donte is a very good WR prospect. He runs solid routes, gets a lot of separation, isn't afraid to attack the middle of the field, possesses outstanding body-control, great YAC production (tough to bring down when he's got momentum), and above average breakaway speed. On top of it all, he's got ideal frame and size for the position. Seriously, what more could you ask for in a WR prospect?

if he runs a 4.3, look out. the body catches could be fixed, and he still does not drop a lot of balls even tho he catches them with his body at times.

4.3 is a stretch but man... if he does... I have no doubts he'll be gone by the 35th pick.

these are his words, and coaches. he told Pauline that he was going to run really fast. how many thought Julio was going to run a 4.3 before he did. people knew he was fast, but not 4.3 fast.

Davante Adams has crept near the top of my list for us.  I know it's a highlight video, but this kid has the size, ability, and collegiate resume to back it up.  He can do everything we're looking for: jump balls, screens, deep balls.  He's 6'2 1/2 --- 216

131 catches for 1718 yards and 24 TDs

Beckham, Adams, Robinson, Landry or S-J are my top to weapons in the 1st for us.  He may even be drafted before our pick.

The more I think about the WRs this yeah, the better I feel about them.  I have a feeling about Jordan Matthews, and if he's around in the 2nd, I think he could be a great value pick.  There are a lot of different feelings about him, but I'll just leave it at, I have a hunch about him.  As far as Beckham, Cooks, ect....  They are all super interesting.  AT this point, I'd like to see them all catch balls from Cam frankly lol.

As far as the rest, holy mackerel!  There is so much variety, so many good players, so much potential (the dangerous word!).  I'm really excited about this group of WRs, and I'm pretty sure the Panthers can get a good one or two this year.  Heck, I think everyone in the NFL can get some good guys this year.  Sheesh.  What a terrible problem right?

Very excited for this WR crop this year. I really would like to see us double dip at WR like we did at DT last year. Imagine if we could get Allen Robinson in the first and Jordan Matthews in the second.

I'd love to see us double dip at WR if it makes sense for the value, but probably for a different reason.

This class is deep, everyone knows that, but not every prospect will be a star. In fact, not all of them will even be good. While 1st round picks usually end up as solid players, it's not a given. We will also most likely be picking the 4th or 5th receiver, which will already lessens our chance of finding a star. I think if we double dip on WR, then at least one of them could grab the reins of the #1 WR spot.
