We need WRs and OL. If Cam goes down just call it a season and vie for a high pick in the following draft. We don't need any back up plan.

So in the middle of a tight race to a division title or a wildcard and Cam goes down with a bad ankle sprain that needs a couple of weeks.  You want to mail the whole season in?

Thank God you're not running the show.

You bring a QB similar in ability to the one you got under center you just might grab an additional win or two.

NEXT MAN UP....

You don't tank a season because one player goes down.  Even if it is your Franchise QB.  There are 52 other players that are giving their all to win NOW.

1990 Giants I believe Phil Simms went down and Jeff Hostetler came in and won the Super Bowl for them.

I would love to see a QB like Shaw being a backup.  I like Anderson but his skill set is far different then Cam's.  The whole game plan changes with Anderson.  Someone like Shaw might be able to take the reins and keep running with our game plan.

If you take a look at my draft i have 2 OL and 2 Wrs with the first 4 picks, Connor is only a 6th or a lucky 7th

And if Cam goes down right before the play off, you need a young and promising backup QB.

The earlier the better.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but wasn't Shaw constantly injured at SC?

There is no use spending a pick on him.  Now, getting him as an UDFA or picking him up on waivers, I can dig.  But now use in waisting a pick on him.

Let the Browns take him.  That's their specialty, after all.

When you look at his ranking everyone see this kid 6 or 7th round

But if you take a look at his stats this is just insane.

2013 180 284 2447 63.4 8.62 76 24 1 20 162.9 70.8

24 TD for just ONE yes ONE interception!!!!

Playing in the SEC this is a pretty accurate QB.

And he is a very good scrambling QB, we need him just in case.

Shaw is one tough dude. Undefeated at home for his career. He is mobile and throws decent . His toughness and will is his strong suit.
