Last ice advisory galveston had...little over a week ago, they shut the citt and schools down, and it ended up being a perfect day in the low 40's.

I remember still going to school on morning that had dumped 24 inches in less than 24 hours.

I understand the differences in the regions, and that they aren't equipped to deal with it...but more often than not, it's over reaction.

Brad Panovich called for totals to reach 5 inches as of last night. Said he'd update again this morning, but I haven't seen anything. Also said he thought the accumulation totals would likely increase by today's prediction.

We usually get a foot or more of snow every decade or so. Last time it happened in Charlotte I was a junior in HS, which was exactly a decade ago.
