I'm not impressed by the Giants

New York is cold, windy and its going to be filled with pissed off proud fans. The Giants will be back at home and missing Burress or not will be fighting hard.

Without Burress they don't have their big play or deep threat and I whole heatedly believe our secondary is more than up to the task of covering their receivers. No Jacobs would make me ecstatic because lets face it, up until this week our run defense hasn't exactly been stellar after a great season beginning.

The thing about Jacobs is its his knee thats the bother and he hasn't practiced so I doubt he'll be good to go. The Giants have clinched the division any way so I don't see them risking him. Couglin would love home field but his team doesn't "need" it to be successful.

honestly i think the giants are in the midst of a downward spiral. with jacobs (temporarily) out and all the drama revolving around burress, i dont see the giants recovering anytime soon. the cowboys/giants game today was flatout ugly. neither team could produce offensively. romo looked like even more of a joke and manning reminded me of the eli of old. if jacobs does play next week, i wonder how healthy he will really be. let's hope that is not the case...without him, the giants have pretty much zero offensive weapons.

what are you smoking?? both quarterbacks looked absolutely fantastic today! tough, accurate for the most part, and unwilling to give up. the Giants have many offensive weapons. yes, we are missing our two most important ones right now, although we have shown we can do it without Burress. if Jacobs is out, it will hurt us, no doubt, and I do agree that Coughlin will not risk him if he is not 100%. the reason the game looked so ugly is because both O-Lines were beat up, both teams have an EXCELLENT pass rush, and both teams' receivers had trouble creating separation because of secondaries that played very well for the most part. The difference between the Cowboys and the Giants... the Giants have developed the attitude of Eli Manning... so... they lost... let it roll of their shoulders and move on to the next game. but Jacobs is not our only offensive weapon, so please, do not think that. actually, go ahead and think that so then you can learn something next week.

Well I wasn't impresed by them TONIGHT, but they are a very good team and I respect that. Certainly, how team A plays against team B on one night doesn't mean a thing as to how they play team C on another night.

I thought we would see a much better team last night. There is something wrong with the Giants. I think it's deeper than Plax and Jacobs.

It goes back to the saying " It's not how you start, It's how you finish" And right now the Panthers are peaking and the only other team that is peaking right now is Pittsburgh.

That game was not Eli's fault. The Giants offensive line broke down. Plus Dallas was playing for their playoff lives. I expect to see the really tough Giants. Their was absolutely nothing wrong the we the defense. That defensive performance would have easily won if their offense would have shown up. I expect to see a better Giant performance, maybe not week 3/4 Giants but definitely better than last 2 games. Panthers however are peaking so hopefully we ride this to both a division title and home field.
