it just depends on what you are trying to do in asheville. what age you are, if you have kids, ect. If you want a corporate job and start a family. Not a great place.

but if you are a young adult looking to experience some new things and meet new people it's a great city to live in. if you are of that mindset and that kind of person you can get affordable housing and get around the city cheaply. This isn't like philadelphia or san fran the two other cities i've lived in.

i pay 350/month rent with one other roomate and its a nice fuging house. restaurants i wouldn't exactly describe as pricey comparatively speaking. The other good thing about asheville is the surrounding areas are VERY close by and you can still easily access asheville 15-20 minutes away. Woodfin, Hendersonville, Fletcher, Arden, Canton, Candler, Bat Cave are all very close to aville and relatively cheap if you are looking to settle down in the area. WNC is a great place to live.

the have's and have nots are in every city. but i will agree most of the jobs here are restaurants/entertainment. There are a few plants that pay extremely well. 20 plus an hour starting out, and outdoor jobs. like i said asheville is really a distinct city for a certain type of person.

Candler is where I grew up.  Too bad its turned into the worlds largest trailer park.

Asheville is great if you don't ever want to see attractive women.

Born in Hickory, went to college in Charlotte, now living in Asheville.

It's easier to meet and date pretty women in Asheville than it was in Charlotte. There are plenty of pretty women around here. The difference is I stand out up here around all the hippies and retired folks, whereas clean cut guys are a dime a dozen in Charlotte.

Meet Lady Cat Rachel, born and raised in Asheville. Tell us more about the dimes they grow out in Nebraska.

true, but i have a few friends that live in west asheville/candler that has some really nice houses. but i agree there are some backwoods country folk there.

It's like that everywhere around here. There's really no middle class.

Pass a gated mountainside community filled with multimillion dollar homes, drive 5 miles and drive right into a trailer park.

    • So this bump will basically help tank Motons backloaded year in 25?  Works for me.
    • I don't know--they represent the entire body of players and, if it got to that point, a vote of all veterans and rookies who are part of the union.  The members of the union that are getting less so that QBs and Edges make more.  If the elite players are getting 50% of all cap increases, the non-elite players with shorter careers might want a bigger slice of the pie and vote accordingly.  To say that the Union would not go for it is not something I agree with--it would be the union that proposes it--based on a proposal and a majority vote.  If the veteran players vote for an equal distribution framework, then all 53 on a roster benefit from a cap increase that is applicable to the entire team.  Not sure how labor laws might be impacted...
    • Carter, Graham, or Walker and I might roll the dice hoping Walker is around later.  If Hunter is there at 8, we are about to get a really nice haul for trading back.
