Regardless.....the penalty for this off sides was 1 yard due to the fact we were on the 2 yard line.....so it was still 3rd down.  

 

NFL should look at this.  It's a pretty big advantage if a team knows they can jump off sides and only lose a yard, but if they get away with it like SF did several times during the game, then they potentially stop a touch down.

I think if you jump offsides at the goaline, it should be an automatic 1st down.
