This is one I the worst nfl videos ever. It claims they were micd up the whole game but 3/4 the vid is just highlights with no talking from Crabtree or Sherman. Then when Sherman finally says something, I couldn't hear him bc the GD announcers wouldn't stfu. Announcers are pissing me off more and more these days. Like the ones in the pro bowl. That one bitch just kept asking whose team you would like to be on. Everyone just said they didn't care. No poo. Then if she wasn't asking that she was saying how she was getting photobombed. I'm sorry, was someone taking a picture? It was a video and stop acting like people want to have a pic taken with you. Everyone there is awesome at football get all the announcers/ hosts act like hot poo.

So. Would you say Sherman acts like a "professional athlete" or a "thug" when conducting an interview?

As Tupac defined it, a thug is someone who is going through struggles, has gone through struggles, and continues to live day by day with nothing for them.

Sherman actions are enough to prove that he is the best CB in the game "right now", but his words show that he struggles for acceptance and lives day to day trying to tell everyone that "he's the man he's the man he's the man" Why? Why not just enjoy the stats and act like a pro? Why does he have to tell everyone about it.

Why? Because he lacks maturity and has to fall back on his childish understanding of what it really takes to be accepted and respected....he feels like he has to yell about it and say "hey look at me". It's sad and he was embarrassed. Why do you think he apologized?

By that definition, probably 98% of the world's population is a thug.

To understand Sherman, you have to understand the position he plays. Being a physical man press corner in the NFL requires attitude. Actually doing it builds aggression - almost to the point that you have to fight yourself to stop from fighting your opponent.

Now, make a game-deciding play against a WR who has literally tried to fight you in public and against your old college coach who set you up for failure and supposedly "bullied" you throughout your college days.

You could bet the farm that if I were in that situation, I would rub it in the faces of the WR and coach who disrespected me.

I'm not saying his outburst was the right thing to do.... but I understand.

I don't know how many of you ever have played for and lost something you wanted to win, but if immediately after you lost the man that beat you slapped you on the ass and then got in your face saying "GOOD GAME GOOD GAME" and tried to shake your hand, you'd probably slug them in the mouth. Especially if they've been talking shat the whole night. It's in the code. You don't go up to a man that's hurting because of something you did and try to comfort him. That's what his people are for. You back up, take your victory like a man, and move forward. Maybe after a few minutes have passed and you let the dude cool down you can come up to him and give him respect. Not in the moment though.

Everybody can act like they don't know exactly what Sherman is doing here if they want. We all know that dude playing street ball as a kid that would give "false congratulations" after whipping your ass on the court. It was just another way to embarrass you further. To remind you that you just got beat. Passive aggressive shat talking. When tension is still high and the dude is trying to get in your personal space, that's the kind of thing that gets people beat up when the stakes are high. Can you imagine what all was said between these two during play? Then before the clock even hits zero, before you can even get back to your sideline, you've got to deal with this dude celebrating in your face? That's a punk move.

That doesn't make Sherman a "thug". That doesn't make him a bad person. It just means what it means. It was a punk move. The interview I don't even care about. He can say what he wants. But if you want to act like that sarcasm doesn't exist and words always mean exactly what it sounds like they mean, then be my guest. It would be like if you dropped something and I came up and slapped you on the ass and said "NICE JOB MAN NICE JOB" all in your face. Just reminding you that you messed up.

That "thug" graduated from Stanford, one of the most prestigious universities in the U.S., he is one of the top 3 performers in his profession, a profession in which you have to be elite just to join.

Mr. Way Truth Life, that "thug" has almost certainly accomplished more in his life than you could ever hope to in yours.

Let that simmer for awhile.

That really depends on who is measuring accomplishment.  On the NFL field.  Most definitely.

It was never about accomplishments on the football field.....it's about his lack of maturity and inability to properly handle himself like a professional.

So being "childish" = being a thug to you?

You serious, Clark?

This whole isn is more about the media and less about either of those two. This saga is only still being played out because folks are bored with themselves and won't stay off twitter. Plus, it's clear those in the media wanted the 49ers to win.

Once again they are creating distraction because they don't want to give much attention to the Seahawks. This whole week the conversation was either about the "greatness" that is Peyton Manning or the Sherman and Crabtree show.

And remember the 49ers was the same team who was allowed to get away with the same antics Sherman is being scorn for by the sports media like NFLN.

the media is full of crap... btw I think the 9ers has reached Dallas Cowboy status on the radar around here.

Just be a man and enjoy the win.....they earned it....why diminish it with stupidity?

You keep talking in circles.

Even if what you say might be true, didn't Jesus himself go to the prostitutes? Thieves? Lepers? To show his love to them as well?

For a guy with your username, you sure are hateful and judgemental. Maybe you could use a refresher on the NT.

Never said we should crucify Sherman or that I hate the guy......just said he acted like an idiot....which he did.  He apologized for his statements, which was the correct thing to do, so I have no gripe with the man only his actions.  Maybe you need the refresher course.

Yeah, that's the way JC always did it too.

"Dude, you really suck and you are a POS thug that really needs to get his life straight.  Oh?  You're sorry?  Cool... go and sin no more."

ITS ALMOST LIKE YOU'RE JUST LIKE HIM!
