Trade up? Trade Down?

28 is such a rough spot to pick in.  It is one of those borderline type pick.  Reaching in the first but too low for a second.

Would you give up a pick say maybe a 3rd rounder and our first to move up and get one of the quality WR or OT?

Or

Would you trade down.  Give up number 28 and get maybe an additional 2nd or 3rd round pick?

Our staff seems to be zoomed in on picking good football players in latter rounds.

Ideas?

Or are you content with staying at #28 and let the cards play themselves?

I think Panthers stand pat at all spots. Gettleman last year showed no interest in trades, the pick was in almost immediately after the Panthers went on the clock. I wish he would actually listen to trade offers; just in case someone wants to make a Hurney like deal in favor of the Panthers. However I think DG will draft 7 picks with no trades.

I was reading there is going to be a slew of OT taking in round 1.  This meaning teams are going to pass on a QB early.   By the time we get to 28 there might be a team that wants a QB.  They might give up their 2nd and third to grab that late 1st rounder to snag one of these QB before another team.

We pick up a pick 7 to 10 picks later and get another pick.    I would think we could still get what we wanted with an extra pick to boot.

I could see a situation where Clowney goes #1,that causes a kerfuffle and causes Bridgewater to take a nosedive. I could see getting a high 2 and more for that 28. That would make me happy
