With starters I agree, but we don't need a left tackle to come in and start year one.. I hope. I would imagine the great starting left tackles will be gone by the 28th pick, which is why I would like to draft the heir apparent.

We need Gross's replacement...play RT for a season and then move to LT after a year.

Gross is here for no more than 1 more season. Starting rookies at LT is a risky move. We draft Gross's replacement, but start them at RT for a season and tgen move to LT when Gross retires.

Or, start them at LT and move Gross to RT ...which was his natural position early on.

When we aren't able to stretch the D then teams are able to stack the box with essentially 2 unblocked players, with those odds it doesn't matter what kind of linemen we have. I hope we address both areas equally, they compliment each other. Oline: resign 2-3 players, 2-3 in FA, and draft 2. WR: resign 2, 2 in FA, draft 1-2. Now watch the running game open up.

Balance is going to happen if no one respects your passing game. If teams feel comfortable single covering your WR. They can have enough guys to stop the run.

Works both ways, if you don't have a running game then they don't need to being extra guys in the box to stop the run. Which leaves more guys in coverage
