I agree with moving it back.  Maybe make it a 35 yarder or so just so it is at least a little interesting and not a 100 percent gimme.

For those wanting to get rid of the extra point, remember this:

 

In Week 2 of the 2003 season, we'd have lost to the Bucs if it were like that. Instead, after their last-second TD, we blocked the extra point that would have beat us, and we won in OT on our way to a Super Bowl season.

I like the idea of moving it back to a thirty-five yarder.  It should still be made but is not so automatic.  Also, a personal foul after the TD could actually matter since the XP would then become a fifty yarder.

Not far enough back to warrant extra points....either is a damn gimme.

 

Get rid of the kick (get 7 pts for the TD)....get another point if you go for what used to be a 2 pt conversion.
