Midstream is always the key, but the dilution method only works with immediate dipstick tests. If it's a lab test or a mail in lab test, you'll get an inconclusive reading and a return on dilution. Most places consider that a fail.

I haven't had that issue. Last two times I was tested was via lab and both came back negative. Maybe I just got lucky...

everyone's body is different but from personal experience i quit smoking for a month because of a job and i was a pretty heavy smoker. One week before my drug test my buddies decided to cook up some brownies and didn't inform me that they were hash brownies. I was drunk so didn't taste the difference.

 

I drank tons of water and cranberry juice and worked out everyday and passed. i'm a bit overweight at 210lbs and 5' 10" so i think you will be ok man being smaller than me.

depends on the industry and the setting really.

 

A lot of smaller companies don't drug test. It is expensive and most people know how to game the system anyway, so you jsut end up paying for a lot of false negatives.

I smoke everyday, have for a long time and have passed 3 surprise tests with just water. The midstream point is very important, let the first bit go into the toilet then fill the cup. I drank 2 liters of water in the hour before I went in and continued to drink H2O the whole time I was there, I wanted to puke water. Regardless it works..

I meant job interviews from outside candidates. I have been drug tested at every company I have gone to work for.

I passed all of them...did not have to worry about it...because I chose not to use drugs.

I have a hard time feeling sorry for someone who does not get hired because they failed a drug test. It is a decision that they, and they alone make.

If you want to smoke, that is fine. But, don't expect sympathy when it bites you in the ass.

OP you should be fine in that time frame. It doesn't sound like you have a lot of fat on you anyway. I'm 6'2, 180 and I can pass a piss test in a week after frequent use. Testing yourself is a great idea to learn how fast your body can clean it out.

 

If you have a hair follicle test you are screwed and there's pretty much nothing you can do.

This made me feel good.  I'm basically doing the same.  Running 10 miles on the elliptical every day and doing the steam room for 30 min.  2+ bottles of cran juice and ~1 gallon of water a day.
