James Jones is a huge drop off from Nicks.

Thanks to pro-football-reference.com:

I guess it depends on how you look at it. Nicks certainly has greater overall numbers.  The thing that concerns me about Nicks is money vs. production, relative to who else is out there.

Just a thought....do you think the possibility of Barner developing into a return man would make Ginn expendable?

nope.

i think it just gives us more options and security...that is if barner grows into the job.

we need more weapons in all phases.

Literally....hit the gym kid.

I'd prefer Ginn to LaFell.  I'd hate to see them keep Donald as the 3, add a better WR in FA, and let Ginn walk.

Clausen will want to go to a team that might give him playing time.

I bet LaFell comes back for the minimum.  If he doesn't, he's got a year or two before he's out of the league entirely.

Florence will be on the golf course next fall, teeing off with Hangartner.

hmm... top probably something like...

1.Hardy

2.Mitchell

3.Gross

4.Ginn

5.Captain

#5 is hard, because I think what Mikell brings to the defense is underrated on this board sometimes, but Captain is too.

#3 is primarily because of our how many FAs we have on the OL as it is and how weak it is.  The draft could change this, and I think losing Ginn would be a huge mistake.

#4 I think is a lock to come back, along with #2.  The others, I'm not sure on.

I'm thinking that Graham Gano is going to be in the top five.

Why has Clausen's name been coming up so much? Am I wrong or didnt the team cut him?
