Greatest Video Game Franchises

Your list pretty much just covered my games/steam library Promethean heh.

I would throw in Total War franchise, Diablo, and Warcraft franchise. Most of the series of games made by Paradox Interactive. Crusader kings, Hearts of Iron, Victoria have been stellar in my opinion. X franchise as well.

 

I would say the total war series but it's been in steady decline for a long time.  Once they started charging $5 for DLC of a few new units the writing was on the wall.  When Rome 2 was released I realized they absolutely killed the franchise.

I still remember code 0013 for Mike Tyson's Punch Out. I played through Super Mario Bros. with it set to MTPO. It's fairly easy until you get to an area with a long jump. It was damn near impossible to run long enough to jump. There was no way to "hold" B on those settings.

Yeah the total war series took a nose dive with Rome II at launch. And the DLC aspect is not helping it.

The original Rome was by far my favorite. With Empire and shogun second.

Most of the times you get butt hurt when PC isn't mentioned at all. We can have great conversations about console games until you come and ass up a thread always thrusting PC into the conversation. That's why you pretending console gamers think of it like a golden calf is crazy
