Colin Kaepernicks post game attire

He represent the multi-billion dollar organization on the field. If I were going to a board of director meeting I would be representing them at the meeting. It's what Kaepernick does on the field that earns him his contract. It's what I would be doing that the meeting that would earn my salary.

Represent on FIELD

Represent at MEETING.

U think players aren't representing the entire team and league organizations just because he's not standing on the field at that moment? You have quite a bit to learn about the NFL and large corporations as a whole.

Actually, they're not. The product on the field is what's being sold. College football is a multi-billion dollar industry too where the players rarely get interviewed. Interviews are just extra stuff. How often the 53rd man on the depth chart gets interviewed? Yet he makes a high salary and nobody cares. I would say 90% of sports fans don't care about those press clippings. Only a few weirdos are at every player's word.

Your problem is you refuse to accept people for who they're. You're not satisfied if they don't look and act like you. Do you know and understand why people wear suits? Well, the idea is to stand out in professional settings since many others might meet similar qualifications. So, the idea is to sell yourself to a potential suitor by standing out(or fitting in). Kapeernick, on the other hand, is not trying to sell himself. In other word, he doesn't give a damn; he is millionaire already. Before you judge someone's attire you have to understand the setting such attire is worn. Why do prostitutes dress in skimpy outfits instead of a suits? Because that's what potential clients expect. Just put a little thought to your opinion because there is nothing original to having one. But a thoughtful opinion can be worth wearing a suit for.

What you said doesn't make any damn sense. I have a very liberal point of view on a lot of different political and social topics. I am none whatsoever not accepting who he is as a person. I could care less what he wears on the streets. But this is Professional Football we are talking about, not amatuer collegiate athletics. When you are a professional you are supposed to dress a certain way for certain occasions. I don't care who you are, but you are not supposed to wear a hat, wife beater, and hadphones around your neck at a press conference. Especially if that is your job. You said it yourself that people wear suits to stand out in a professional setting. The last time I checked a press conference was a professional setting.

This is completely inaccurate. First...interviews are not "extra stuff" (whatever that even means). Players are required to speak to the media. It's part of their job. Secondly...the league makes it very clear that they will punish players for their actions off the field, whether or not it's during the season, for any conduct that is detrimental to the league. Players represent the NFL 24/7 as long as they are under contract.

But Kaepernick NOT trying to stand out. Just because he's behind a microphone doesn't mean it's a professional setting. Kaepernick is just a blue collar worker where people blow their ACL&MCL on a weekly basis. It's seems like a professional setting because of the beautiful color that radiate threw your flat screen. Wait till you find out how the sausage is made. Nothing professional going on in the background.

You're not thinking at a high level yet to understand what I'm talking about. You're still stuck in the "if you dress well all the time then you cover all the basis". But you also don't understand that there is such thing as being over dressed. A freaking suit for a 5 minute interview? Get real! Those reporters interview those players topless in the locker room all the time.

His job is on the field.

I'm guessing 13, and even that might be generous.  Posts are definitely immature.

The function that earn them the paycheck is not the talking to the media.

Doesn't that apply to most jobs? Whether it's deducting payment for the missed day or complete dismissal, most jobs have accountability. But just like most jobs once the they're done performing the function in which they're hired for they can dress however they want.

Maybe its Cams personal preference to dress like that after a game. Again, what did Tom Brady wear after the game?

What people don't understand is that the NFL isn't most jobs. Its the NFL. These guys don't punch a clock like you or me, and they don't have to dress like you or me either. The only person I expect to be dressed professionally is the coach, and half of the time even they look like bums. They tackle grown men to the ground for a living. Why would you expect them to wear a damn suit for a 5 minute interview? That's not to say some guys don't prefer it that way, but others don't. I'm guessing If you had a million in your bank account you really wouldn't care either.
