well which would you prefer to disuss? since the thread title is Colin Kaepernicks post game attire, then I'm going to assume that's what you want to talk about.

What kind of reasonable grown ass man, in his profession would address the media wearing headphones and backwards hat?

Your problem is you refuse to accept people for who they're. You're not satisfied if they don't look and act like you. Do you know and understand why people wear suits? Well, the idea is to stand out in professional settings since many others might meet similar qualifications. So, the idea is to sell yourself to a potential suitor by standing out(or fitting in). Kapeernick, on the other hand, is not trying to sell himself. In other word, he doesn't give a damn; he is millionaire already. Before you judge someone's attire you have to understand the setting such attire is worn. Why do prostitutes dress in skimpy outfits instead of a suits? Because that's what potential clients expect. Just put a little thought to your opinion because there is nothing original to having one. But a thoughtful opinion can be worth wearing a suit for.

It has nothing to do with being "comfortable" or "being truly who you are". There are 168 hours in a week, and NFL players have to look professional for roughly 2 of them. If he cant manage that, fug him. The world is watching. Act like an adult.

Are you going to march into a fortune 500 company's investors meeting and be pissed that they aren't wearing FUBU pants, an NBA jersey, and a beanie hat with a lil propeller on it? Sometimes, you need to look presentable. Like it or not.

fuging hilarious.

And funny you mentioned Sherman... he dressed like a grown-ass man after the game, not a punk looking to get into a pickup game on the "playground" where your brain seems to have permanently taken up residence.

Amazingly enough, the way he dressed and carried himself made him look like he carried more "swag" than the playground punks you worship.

You sound angry. But there is 1 solution to your anger.

1. Find someone with the swag of your liking with more talent than Kaepernick to take over the starting QB position of the 9ers.

You do realize that you're talking about some dude's attire, right?

As for Sherman, I'm sure there are some people who doesn't like his swag also. What's your solution to that? Since you want everyone to grow up to be just like you.

You seem to be the one arguing with everyone.

Simple solution....you STFU and it all ends.

My bet is that you won't and can't....let's see.

You just gave the solution to your own conundrum. What do you do to a millionaire who doesn't comply? what do you do. So the players don't sell themselves enough on the field that they need to wear a suit to impress the mass? The NFL is all about supply and demand of talents. If a team doesn't like the way he dresses they can always trade him or release him for someone who dresses better. This is a business after all, or is it? The players are the brand. They're the supply. They're not hired to sell or represent product. They're are the product. The act being performed on the field is what the owners make billions. Like I told you before, the reason people dress well is because they're representing or selling a product. I'm sure you don't seat on you couch on Sundays wearing a suit. That's because you're not selling or representing anything. Once the game is over Kaepernick is in that same boat.

The reason I wouldn't wear FUBU pants(do they still exist?) at a fortune 500 company is because then I would be representing that company. That's someone else interest. But if I owned that company I wouldn't care what someone think. How often the owner of the company you work walk in with jeans on while everyone else is in their cubicle with shirts and tie? Very often. Just like Kaepernick, he's his own company. The Kaepernick brand. On the other hand, if Kaepernick chose to wear that same attire on the field of play then there would be a problem. Everything Kaepernick does off the field is just extra. Nothing to do with what he's hired for.

Tl:dr

You're way too worked up over what another man is wearing. Are you over the age of 16? Do you currently have a career in a successful company? If you answered 'yes' to those questions, then I dare you to wear what Kaep wore to your next board of directors meeting and see what happens.

In his spare time, Kaep can wear a speedo and cowboy boots for all I care. But when you're on national TV representing a multi-billion dollar organization, dress like an adult.

End thread.

He represent the multi-billion dollar organization on the field. If I were going to a board of director meeting I would be representing them at the meeting. It's what Kaepernick does on the field that earns him his contract. It's what I would be doing that the meeting that would earn my salary.

Represent on FIELD

Represent at MEETING.
