Colin Kaepernicks post game attire

Funny thing, before it was the media hurling out mind numbing stereotypes about Cam, it was a number of folks here on the huddle.

That may be true, but I was not one of them.

I questioned Cam's ability to transition to the NFL game quickly based on what he did and did not do at Auburn....and I was wrong.

I did question his ability to read defenses and I was told this was an issue by an ex Panthers coach.  Whether he truly had issue early on or whether it was a disgruntled ex-coach, I don't know.  But, this season showed that Cam has absolutely improved in this area.

I stated multiple times that the allegations of the laptop, plagarism, etc were no big deal.  Hell, every college kid out there has probably bought something hot while they were in college.  I bought several pieces of electronics for a great price....I am betting the guy jacked them.

I lived in Fremont for 25 years. Born at Washington hospital. Damn that city has gotten crowded with traffic lights every 50 feet hasn't it? I drove down Fremont Blvd. from five corners to alverado/ardenwood and it took me nearly a half hour because of red lights!

Yeah I'm on Fremont and Grimmer. takes me 20 mins just to get to the 880 smdh

"Colin Kaepernicks post game attire"

not talking about the game.

well which would you prefer to disuss? since the thread title is Colin Kaepernicks post game attire, then I'm going to assume that's what you want to talk about.

What kind of reasonable grown ass man, in his profession would address the media wearing headphones and backwards hat?

Why? Because you don't like it?

Say what you want about Kaepernick. But, he is trying damn hard to portray an inner-city gang/thug persona.

Not sure why...but that is a fact.

No because its offensive and in this case not necessary. And inner city thugs don't dress like that. Hipsters, and people that care way to much about their appearance dress like that. He is 20 something years old. Give the guy a break, and everybody that wears their hat backwards isn't trying to be Chief Keef.

So basically what this thread comes down to is a bunch of old people bitching about what the kids wear these days.

Man....I didn't get that at all from reading this thread.  I got that Kap dresses unprofessionally and looks like an adolescent, yet Cam is the one who get the bad rap for being immature while Kap gets a pass.

I don't care what he dresses like.... his clothing matches his personality as with all of us. but that face looks like a sore loser unlike that slick comment a face he had last week when asked about that celebration.

Kaepernick looks like a total juvenile idiot. But there's nothing "inner city gang/thug" about a sweater with a polo shirt under it. Comments like that reveal certain leanings, and looking back at who used those buzzwords doesn't come as a surprise.

Well, here is how it is. Football is played a lot by urban kids. In fact, you can say they pretty much dominate the sport. With that come the culture and the swag of being raised in that environment. So, if a certain group of people is watching the game but not feeling the swag all they need to do is dominate them and get them off the field. You can't expect them to assimilate to your swag and the culture you're more familiar with. That's what it boils down to. If you don't like Kaepernick, Cam, Sherman, etc. and the way they carry themselves; they would not be there if they were dominated on the field from the pee wee level. Those guys are there because they dominate from the start thus follow their culture and swag.

So, if you're mad bro, just dominate them and get them off the field. Have a roll call, send out a distress signal to the swag of your liking to get their games up and dominate. Plain and simple. You can't expect to seat in front of your 55 inch screen on Sunday enjoying them play yet want to suppress their culture and mannerism from being expressed. If you want that, just get the culture and swag that you want to dominate them on the field so you never have to see them on your big screen anymore. Sport is probably the fairest thing we have in our society(Even though some try to rig it as much as they can).

If you go to the playground and you want to get on the court, what do you do? Do you start complaining about people already on the court or do you get 4 other guys who share your swag and run them off the court? That's all it is, just run them of the field/court. You can't expect everyone to assimilate to your liking and act just like you.

fuging hilarious.

And funny you mentioned Sherman... he dressed like a grown-ass man after the game, not a punk looking to get into a pickup game on the "playground" where your brain seems to have permanently taken up residence.

Amazingly enough, the way he dressed and carried himself made him look like he carried more "swag" than the playground punks you worship.
