The spring before Cam's 2010 season at Auburn, my son ran into Cam in the University bookstore and struck up a conversation with him about football for about 10 minutes.

My only pro athlete story was when Smitty gave me the look of death when I walked up and asked if i needed to get back in line and wait for his autograph because I was already there before and then he got called over to do some PR stuff at the Caravan Tour. In hindsight, I was an idiot. But, it was just a look, albeit one that im sure Anthony Bright and Ken Lucas saw just before getting their ass beat.

Last night my friends and I were at this bar on the Strip in Knoxville near the UT campus, and low and behold Cordarrelle Patterson was there visiting. I had never met the guy in person and, while I knew he wasn't the sharpest tool in the shed, thought he'd at least act professionally now that he's a centerpiece of the Vikes' offense.

I went to go shake the guy's hand and a female friend in our group tagged along with me. After I shook his hand, he outright asked my female friend if she would fug his friend. She stared at him for a few seconds in disbelief and walked away.

A few minutes later, she had to go to the restroom, and Cordarrelle was standing in the area near the ladies' room. The bar was pretty crowded, so lightly nudging someone shouldn't be that big of a deal, right? She accidentally rubs elbows with CP, which prompts him to shove her and yell, "fug you, bitch!"

I wasn't planning to start a fight with the guy, but I went up to him and yelled, "what the fug do you think you're doing man?" He was all like, "what you gonna do bruh? what you gonna do?" I paused for a few seconds, then said, "Don't make me call in the Panthers defense!" That shut him up.

So, CP is an asshat. Next time we play them, remember that he likes to shove girls at college bars because they won't fug his friends.

This actual sounds very similar to a story about Colin Kaepernick that my wife's friend told us about.

He wasn't violent like CP, but he was a smug douchebag at a club and completely disrespected her. All the other 49ers were super cool to her though. She said Willis in particular was very down to earth.

Me and my brother ran into him in Charlotte after he was drafted, chillin with a group of guys we all went to high school with and he was about to fight some random guy. He was screaming, "i'll beat yo ass boy" lol. My brother told him to think about what he was doing and was it worth it and he said, "everything happens for a reason, so if i whoop his ass it'll be for a reason."

If you're a grown man, never approach another grown man out at a bar when he's obviously looking to get laid.  I see it all the time.  Some guys are cool, but most aren't.  Truth is, guys recognize athletes much more than women do, and guys are always coming up to them wanting to shake hands.  It's a bad look, and it usually ends bad.  With women around, you're getting in the way, save it for another day.
