Kaep Contract If He Win Today

It should be written in the contract that Kaep has to stop dressing like a homeless thug and limit his douching to three times a week.

Please stop with the thug talk. Urban fashion is more appropriate if you want to call it something. Dressing like he does, does not make you a thug.

To be honest I have no clue what "fashion" he'd be described as wearing. He honestly just looks like he got dressed in the dark reaching into a bag of clothes he found in a dumpster. He's obviously not a thug, but I think he sees himself as a hipster thug.

On the money, however I think Harbaugh knows what he is working with,

I won't be surprised if he is fishing the draft for a younger breed of Kaepernick

When you really think of it; based off of the Alex Smith that lost in Indy, he would have been better to have a QB then Kaepernick.

Even Smith, was scrambling for good yards when they were available, and he's certainly appeared as the better thrower based off their playoff games.

Not so sure about this one.  He has an uncanny ability to pull some wild plays out of his ass and seems like a good guy, but his pocket awareness is truly awful.  He has absolutely no pre-snap read skills when it comes to diagnosing a blitz.  Time and time again today the 49ers were in obvious blitzes and Wilson seemed absolutely oblivious to it.  When pressured, he has a bad habit of simply running straight backwards.  It leads to some amazing plays at times, but it doesn't even give his OL a chance to try to form a pocket.  He blows the pocket up himself.  He has the ability to be a franchise QB, but he's got to change the way he plays.  He can't continue to get away with that type of stuff with a regular basis.  I expect Fox and Del Rio to cook up a play to take advantage of this... as long as they can contain Lynch.

Very well said.

I actually pied his post, cause I agreed with the overall sentiment of it. But even when I did, their was a part of me that felt that Wilson may not be the pocket QB that Newton and Luck are. And I to, have worries, that Wilson won't be able to get a way with the scramble/throws that he does. At some point, teams are going to play him for that, and create mistakes.

But nonetheless, he's still good, though slightly overrated. We'll see?

I agree that he's one of the better young QBs.  I just think having a beast like Lynch to lean on makes him look better than he is.  He's basically playing the Jake Delhomme role right now.  The "hand the ball off and occasionally pull a big play out of your ass" role.  We haven't seen him have to carry an offense like Cam and Luck have had to do.  Right now, I don't think he could.  In reality, Cam and Luck are the only two who have shown they can but that's the situation you're in when you're the #1 overall pick.  You're going into a shitty situation.

True.

And just think what Cam's/The Panthers record would be, if Rivera would have had his "Come To Jesus", "I'm not coaching the right way" moment a lot sooner (though I'm not sure that would have helped him with game and TO management, etc.).

Good points... Just an observation to add, there was a stretch there in the fourth quarter where Wilson looked horrible, culminating in the terrible high hand-off and the botched snap. He looked clueless. There are times I'm left scratching my head with Wilson.

It's because his defense, running game, and role on the team usually camouflage his deficiencies.

Plus, as it's been noted, San Fran has been used to him, while having a good defense in their own right.
