Kaep Contract If He Win Today

Similar to what stafford made, as someone else stated in this thread, on his extension. So, 5 years/76m?

The same id offer Cam.

Yep. That is the same contract I would offer all these guys.

I just wanted to see if you thought it was okay for Luck to make ridiculous amount of money while not Kap given that Kap has accomplished more than Luck and regular season stats-wise are about the same.

To me, Kap definitely deserves whatever Luck is entitled to. IMO, Kap deserves more than Luck, who everyone has no problem with getting a mega contract.

I have a feeling Luck will be the highest paid QB in the league in a couple years.

And no one will question/have a problem with it. So if Luck deserves $130 million dollar contract why doesn't Kap or Cam or Wilson?

From a production stand point you get about the same from each. And from a victory stand point, Kap is superior.

Well I have to disagree, although Flacco did get hot at the right moment, but so did Trent Dilfer. The defense and the few weapons played a big part. Once those parts left, you seen how Flacco performed this year with the team FULLY on his shoulders. You got Romo contract and Stafford contract too

You lost me on the Dilfer reference. Flacco was playing out of his mind throughout the playoffs, and the Superbowl. He had 11 touchdowns, and 0 interceptions. Dilfer had 3 touchdowns, and 1 interception in the 2000 postseason. Not even remotely comparable man.

Dilfer's SB run was nothing like Flacco's.  Flacco had to make plays, Dilfer just had to not lose it.

But it's hard to judge what these QB's really deserve unless they've been doing it for 8+ years and it's pretty clear what you should get or shouldn't get. We talking about SF who's been building their team since what... 2007? The Hawks since 2010. Compared to our organization who completely went haywire all because a lockout *cough* and we started rebuilding in 2011

So if Kaep wins today but loses the super bowl, i fully suspect ESPN will call him "unclutch", a "choker" and "terrible when it matters most", due to the fact that he will be one of very few QBs to ever lose 2 super bowls right? ..... Right?

Oh wait. U mean ESPN isnt ready to write that narrative yet because they can still profit off this douche? Weird. I thought the standards were held the same for everyone in such a respected establishment....

Whatever, point is he lost those pieces and Rice declined and so did the defense, Flacco proved who he always has been

Outstanding rebuttal to the actual facts you were presented with. Bravo sir, bravo.

Cause Trent has nothing to do with this convo, Flacco and his terrible contract is what really matters. They both made the plays in the playoffs and didn't mess up, also Trent didn't have the weapons Flacco had. He just had Shannon

Im not joining this argument. Just pointing out, Flacco did mess up. Raheem Moore was in perfect position to swat/intercept that ball. It was a defensive gaf that flacco had zero to do with.

Saying Flacco won that game is like Matt Ryan getting a $100 Million extension due to Nakamaura falling down in our 2012 game in the dome

    • Start with Bryce, this is like his rookie year. The 1st 2 games proved her was wired wrong and it looks like (we hope) he needed a time out to reset and be the player that was drafted. He's still about a year or more away from being a top 15 QB, if the Panther give him another playmaker or 2 (a top WR and a decent TE) and maintain that line. Canales deserves credit as playing that card correctly to motivate (or refocus) his QB for one last shot to decide his and the Panthers immediate future. As a Panther fans we should hope he keeps improving as we invested so much to get him. CJ Stroud will never have a season like he had, even if he stays a top 10 QB. He's got great character so I'm rooting for Bryce to continue on his positive journey. Canales is playing the week to week thing with bryce perfectly. Nothings guaranteed, earn it weekly which builds consistency and consistency is greatness.  Keep the O-line. They've got to extend Brady C, along with Mayes that have a real good 7. Great job Morgan starting with the big guys upfront.  I really hope they draft a DE or OLB in the 1st round. Getting Brown back with A Robinson and what DJ has shown that we can have a decent D-line. Need a CB in the early rounds/ or a time FA to go with Horn.  The future as to next year being good enough to challenge for the division is within reach. Just show progress (win or lose) every week. Kudos to Dan Morgan. Plays GM like a LB. Tackle the problem and move on, don't just hope it works out. Find guys with your playing mentality and work closely with your HC to share a vision. Teamwork starts at the top and flows down.
