It's not like Wallace was a bust in Miami.  He was overpaid for his production.. but Wallace woulda been the perfect fit for Cam.

DG surely made a way last season. We could cut some bums for the sake of balance. Its crazy to not consider this pickup. Strangely I'm more mad at the fans here that keep pulling the "he has issues card"... we all have issues and motivation also brings out the better in us. a pickup like this upgrade SS to a legit threat again if healthy. as well as TGinn...

The guy has had multiple years of great production and is coming off a season where he was banged up, had hardly any production, played on a horrible team whose QB was a INT machine, and you're writing him off? Sounds like you need to take off the Tar Heel hater glasses to me. J-Stew was in a similar situation this season but played even less. I don't think we should be writing him off either.

To add to this V cruz was hit up with a huge new contract in the offseason/ preseason and Nicks had to await his fate.   I think maybe Nicks will have a chip on his shoulder  with who ever he plays for next .  Could be a great thing.

The team can draft Gross' replacement in the 1st, go depth in the 2nd or a solid wr and if Nicks wants to bolt, then we have the wr with a year under his belt for the following year who can also replace SS.
