Giants letting Nicks walk!

SF went out and got Boldin.....why can't we go out and get someone else's star WR and draft a #1 WR this year in the draft?   What about going after Boldin or Maclin or Decker? .  Let's take Benjamin in the 1st....he will be there.  Smith may have 2 more years in him and Ginn is a good #3 WR.  It's really not that hard.

If we are going to fix WR, we have to do both...we have to draft a top tier wideout and get one in FA. Not a Legadu or Hixon. Nicks, Cooper, Baldwin, someone. Decker and Edelman are going to get paper.

AJ Green...yes. That's one I missed. That's three first round WRs with immediate impact in 15 years. My totals were limited to first rounders. If you want to go outside the first round, you can add Keenan Allen, Anquan Boldin, and Marquese Colston. That's it... Out of hundreds and hundreds of receivers.

Once again, Red, I don't know whether it's dishonesty or reading comprehension, but it's strange that you always miscast everyone's arguments. I didn't say we should avoid drafting a WR. In fact, I said we should draft a WR. I just said relying exclusively on the draft essentially concedes the weakness for another year or two, because WRs rarely ever have an immediate impact.

So here is a good question. Do we let Ginn walk for Nicks or a similar prospect? Ginn is in my top five of our resigns but with limited cap space do we use his 2M along with Lafells 1M to go after the likes of Nicks for 3-4M? (I realize I generalized the numbers for the purpose of opinion)

That's all he does. You have a rational argument with him and then he concludes since you believe riley cooper is going to get paid for his production you are down playing his use of the n word in the off season and pretty much agree with what he did.

He is out of touch with reality.

I think we can sign Ginn for very little, despite his good season, same with Colin Cole. Seriously who is going to give them any real money? We don't sign Hardy, cut Godfrey. Make ourselves some room and use it for Nicks. Draft a WR to groom and road grader tackle in the early rounds. Fill holes at CB with Florence esque guys and a couple mid rounders.

Don't worry too much about him. He does it to me all the time too. He likes to twist things around and then respond trying to make you look like an a-hole and him the helpless victim of your attack.

It's extremely predictable and has actually become comical to me. Especially when I see him doing it to several other people as well.

Ginn doesn't cost much, and is too valuable to the Panthers as a #3 or 4 and return man, added with whatever chemistry he's been building with Cam, to not resign at that price. So you can pay him the $2mil, and still get another FA receiver in my estimation. And plus, you make Ginn feels like he belongs to something, first time in his career, as hoping Proehl and Smitty can develop him some more in the off season.

Panthers need to sign an NFL level FA receiver, draft one or two, and resign Ginn to make this a viable offense for next season and the future.

That's literally his only move. And what makes it worse is that he is the thread hall monitier and is in every single one sounding just as ignorant as the last and it's so annoying

You can't even take 5 minutes to get your facts straight regarding rookie wide receivers, but you want to correct everyone else?

I can't help it if you are misinformed. Get your facts straight before you post from now on then.

Not being an apologist for a racist = out of touch with reality? Well, at least we know where you stand CarolinaCoolin.
