Fox and the Broncos

fox was good early on but his attitude towards the end sucked, he stuck with jake way too long and we never had a qb show a shred of talent besides moore...........who always got thrown in when the season was too late to save......stubborn crap like that is what pissed me off about fox..........with that being said still hopes he win

I liked Fox.  Whether Hurney strapped him with Davidson or he picked him.  Of the four teams that were remaining I would have chosen fox over Harbaugh, Billicheat or Carroll any day.

2010 was such a mess.  Take all the vets away and make him play with young players isn't really the way to go but we did it to him.  We parted ways.  Doesn't mean Fox didn't give his all during his tenure.

We were always competitive 7-9 being his worst season until 2010.   Only thing I would have like to see is back to back winning seasons.   Now the table has been set.  Will Rivera repeat a Fox or be the first head coach to have back to back winning seasons.

Good Luck Fox.

Foxy made one coaching call last year which cost the Broncos a playoff win.  Bet Elway is not going to let that happen again.  The Broncos are Elway and Peyton's team.  Foxy is just a place holder.

He's done made calls against Manning so far in these playoffs, heck the GL situation where Denver kicked a FG was all Fox. Manning wanted to go for it and Fox vetoed it. He's a lot more then a place holder, he's one of the best defensive minds in football.

Fox didn't want to stay here anyway after the fallout between him and JR. So his last few seasons here are a moot point, he wanted out. The fact that those years he was held back by poor decisions on JR and Hurney has nothing to do with him being a bad or good coach.

People talking poo about fox must have become fans after the Super Bowl. I actually remember the 90's and early 2000's. Besides, hurney stuck around for two more years and made additional moves that were terrible. AFAIC Hurney is the common denominator in the sucking.

Take Peyton Manning away, and Fox is still 7-9 or 8-8.

Sorry.

A man  who set back offensively football 50 years had the best QB, ever, drop into his lap.

I'm sure they let him no where near the offensive team rooms.

Some coaches are innovators and some are game managers.  Fox is at best, a game manager.

The huddle has never once given credit to any individual on our list of sour grapes personnel, unless it is cam when he does well.

Otherwise it's because so-in-so is a product of their environment. It's our WR core/the Oline/our coaches/ Defense's fault we sucked today, Cam played perfect!

Now let's play the game with coaches and players. Harbaugh is just lucky because of the talent that was given to him. Kaepernick just has more weapons. Russell too! Fox is only in the super bowl again because of luck!

And this isn't a bash cam post, but we have some real issues addressing certain issues. You really can't make fun of Dat Alice because we have the same defense mechanisms where we twist logic to make ourselves feel better.
