it's just a fact that offense is not fox's forte and thankfully it's not something he needs to worry about now.  i don't see why his fans refuse to admit this.

My comment about QBs was in response to a comment about 2-14. The first four QBs you listed had nothing to do with 2-14 and the fifth guy played one game.

It didn't appear to be that specific. And to further my point Fox used that fifth guy off the street instead of using Clausen. He was pitching a fit and trying to make a statement. He likes vet players to a fault.

I thought Clausen was injured for that game.  The whole debacle kind of runs together.

Fox ain't a bad coach but put him in New England and the Pats wouldn't be playing today. He caught on with a good team and the FO presented him with Manning. He just had enough sense to utilize a great QB.

Say what you want but Fox was a great coach when he had all the players he wanted. But when players were lost to FA or hurt, he continued to coach exactly the same and not take into account the players he actually had on the field. He would never adjust the team to the players. It was his way or the highway. He has got all the pieces again in Denver and is doing a hellva job.

Fox had a nice start in Carolina.. but like 2nd halves he never seemed to adjust.

I understand why people aren't the biggest Fox fans but I like him as a coach and don't mind seeing him win.  The Davidson move screwed us up and not getting a Delhomme heir earlier was a killer but I'm neutral about the guy.

Does anyone notice that Fox has had 3 winnings seasons so far as Denver HC. Difference between our team he coach and their team. Is that Elway has given Fox talent to work with unlike Hurney did. Hurney was always giving scrubs to work with every year. That is one of the reason Fox never had a back to back seasons in Carolina.  But Congrats to Fox on his SB run for  the second time. Hope to old man wins it all this year.

Davidson wasn't terrible. We had a top ten offense in both points and yards in 2008 with Jake Delhomme's corpse starting.
