Would you sign Gamble to a two year deal?

I just don't remember the guy getting exploited like a couple guys we got now. He was not the true weakness in the secondary. Still had a little tread left aside from the shoulder.

Sorry the question hurt some feelings or sensibilities. If someone who could possibly help you came to the door would you choose a possibly more expensive option? The guys we got now aren't ready for the spotlight. A top CB is an expensive fix via FA. Using a high draft pick on a CB means no really good #1WR.

It was just a question sorry to offend you sir. Check no

??? what makes you think my feelings or sensabilities were hurt or that i was offended? because i *shock* disagreed with something you proposed? lol

seems like there is someone whose feelings and sensibilities are hurt and who was offended by the responses in this thread, tho.

that would be you

I'd sign him to a vet min 1yr deal. See what he has. Our secondary is made up of cast offs, and players off the st. Signing him won't hurt

Looking to the past for answers isn't going to solve our woes in the secondary. We need to keep moving forward.

You are one of many of us who talks about how we need to stop relying on Steve Smith, well that applies here too. We need young talent.

I didn't say he was a solution, but he'd be 31 at the start of the season which is still a few years younger than Smith and Gross. Idk if he has anything left or not, but he couldn't hurt us

Lol. You seemed more disturbed by the question than me. Others took it as a free shot. I'm a lot tougher than that. Just a solution to a problem thread. If you don't agree that's OK. Some people dont think it's such a bad idea be it 20% or so. If you take joy. So be it.

We don't have a shut down corners and our rookies need help until they grow. WR and CB are one of those positions that come at a premium. Just trying to find a solution.

Remember Colin Cole? Sitting at home and he got the call. It's not impossible. It may be improbable. If he was healthy I'd take him let other guys walk and draft a WR. You may have a different way to solve our problems. I'd be glad to hear them.

I'm pretty sure Gamble was just done playing.  I don't think he cared anymore.  He has a few really great years, but sometimes would just look like he was mailing it in.  I think I read he said he saved enough money to where he didn't need to play anymore.  That said, if he wanted to come back he would still probably be better than any CB we have on the roster but I think the ship has sailed..
