this was a good foundation.

now let's see if we can actually build on that success rather than take the 2 steps backward after one step forward we typically do when we have a good season.

it's a concern, but gettleman navigated the cap situation this past year really well without mortgaging the future (which was the only way hurney knew how to manage the cap/build the team).
