Nope. Not a soul will miss him. He'll just sit in his enormous mansion overlooking the Pacific Ocean, and cry into his chalice of Dom Perignon, pining over his lost integrity as an actor.

What a fool.

Some people act because it's a craft they take seriously, and they want to be remembered as one of the great artists who truly advanced the medium; the Tom Hankses, the Kevin Spaceys, the Denzels, the Jacks, the Blanchetts. Others just want to entertain; the Sandlers, the Stillers, the Schwarzeneggers, the Harts, the Carrey's, the Depps. And there are those who just look at movies as a means to make boatloads of money. You can't fault a man for that.

Also, before you think that other actors aren't just as willing to sell their acting integrity down the river for a big check, look at the ads and B-movies they are making overseas and, praying they never make their way back to the US.

Hey, I'm just asking the question, don't get pissy about it. I just don't understand the motivation, regardless of money. I mean, we could all stand on a busy Los Angeles corner and blow sheep if someone was willing to pay huge money for it, doesn't mean we're all inclined to take them up on it.

Not pissy. Just saying the man is successful. If his motivation is financial success, he's got that in spades. Not everyone is in movies to be an artist and I don't think you or I can judge him one way or the other on how he chooses to run his career. I acknowledge that the movie industry is a business just like any other. And at the end of the day, Tyler Perry can make a box office hit. Got to give a man props for that.

Any chance you have a link for that gig?

True. Apologies.

I shouldn't be hating on him. Rather, should be the simple people who watch this mindless drivel and make it all possible for him.

tyler perry makes movies that black people can relate too he knows his audience with the medea movies and isnt ashamed to admit it. The movies where he isn't medea are actually entertaining movies with a good message but the general consensus with those movies is fug him he wore a dress those other movies so this should suck too fug tyler perry. Not defending him just saying that hating a guys movies when you've never even seen them is makes you look like a ignorant hater.

In other words, he has sacrificed every ounce of integrity, image, legitimacy as an actor, credibility in his craft for money.

When his run is over, no one will remember him and no one will miss him.

I still know who Weird Al Yankovic is...

    • yeah, XL didn't do anything actually week 2 like the toe thing week 1.  Dave can't scheme him up a play.  Those go horrible (like the handoff or the screen that wasn't really even a screen).  Nothing was there.  as for the rest, XL just isn't a good enough WR for his route running to shake himself open on some predictable routes.  Most targets to him were off target or thrown to be contested balls.   I will say this, XL does not play to his size though when a ball is up in the air.  He doesn't seem to actually have any sort of advantage for a contested 50/50 ball.  That's really a skill set more than size thing.  Some dudes just go up great.
    • I have a blue peppers too. Also have a black smitty and white Stewart. Haven’t worn them in years.
    • I watched a breakdown on XL recently, maybe it was here, but I’m less critical of him afterwards.  He showed every touch he had against AZ, and most of them were doomed from the start.  And I know it seems easy and convenient, but I think it all starts and ends with Bryce.  Until we have someone who is a threat to throw the ball downfield, guys are gonna keep loading up the box and being super aggressive blitzing and closing out on tackles because they have no consequence for NOT doing so.  And then a lot of the targets he got against AZ weren’t even on target.  Much like with those jump balls Bryce threw to Renfrow, just because you get your hands on it doesn’t mean it’s catchable ball.
