Wait are you telling me you want the team to win?

Yea buddy.

I want the damn team to win. But win when it's worth winning. Not when teams are giving you the damn worthless wins.

I work and earn things. I dont take anything for free.

You really think that we can be a playoffs team next season with the same roster? Yea, thats what I thought.

no.

But why would you even want to be a no8 seed and get swept 4 straight games by Miami or Indiana and expect to be happy with the no15th pick that will belong to Chicago?

I just want a win. Winning is what matters to me.

Yes, we have the cap to sign a star and we will have two draft picks to pick up talent.

Until 5 minutes ago we held a playoff spot. We are 4 wins from owning the 4th seed.

Get real dude. Do we suck? Yeah. Could we still get a 4-5 seed? Easily.

We are also only 2 games back from having the third worst record in the East. With Cleveland hitting their stride and Rondo returning to Boston in their next game we are pretty much toast.

When your at the bottom, the only way is up. Dont take two steps forward and 3 steps back.

Chuck, you don't understand where I'm coming from. I respect your views. Let's just hope Hornets have a bright future.

I understand your views. You dont understand mine.

I get that you want to win. It'd help going into the Hornets era coming off a Playoffs berth. But, you are clearly investing your future (2-3 years) by making the Playoffs this year. The talents to be a contender is not on the team right now. I dont see this team being a playoffs team next year with the same group of core guys.

I rather make the playoffs in the Hornets era than not making it. Think about it.

The chance to build your team next season with three 1st rounders (1 high lottery) in this upcoming draft will be a bigger "win" than winning 30 some games and get sweep by the Heat or Pacers.

    • I just want somebody to settle into that Hangartner role and I may give Mays too much credit. He played so well early and has fell off since injuries crept into his vocabulary.  He was struggling to get push on those goal line runs today.
    • You cannot say it doesn't matter who is playing QB ever in any circumstance. The first two games of the season, Bryce was standing in the pocket with time missing throws left and right. We were running the ball well, but even the gimme throws Canales was setting up, Bryce was missing. Then you start Dalton, boom easy win at Las Vegas. By week four's end, three of our best defenders are seriously injured, center injured, 2nd best veteran WR hurt, and best veteran WR quitting on the team.  Canales is a rookie head coach, and he definitely has had some see what sticks moves. But players are being schemed open, the rookies are progressing nicely, and you have the albatross of some terrible lack of talent to phase out. I give him credit alone for pulling Mingo, Thomas, and going with the better/younger producing players. The scheme is better, he just needs better players and I am not going to write him off until he gets more talent, starting with QB!
    • I don’t want this to be another Daniel jones situation.
