Did Star and Short wear down?

I can't wait to see Short next year.  I love Star, he was a day one starter, but Short is so quick, IMO hes as quick off the line as Star

Vikes used to have a similar styled combo in Henry Thomas and John Randle.

 

Would love for Star and Short to be that good.

I don't know that any fan could answer that question, but I remember hearing a NFL coach say that all rookies hit the wall.

Natural.  Beyond the fact that the competition is worlds tougher, they've never played through a season that lasted this long.

 

With a more exhausting job that lasts longer, it's bound to happen.  Some handle it better than others.

Even with less game snaps played, the work in the weight room is brutal. Rookies get really sore and are forced to continue lifting through the pain.

Going from 12-13 college games to 16-19 nfl games is a huuuugggee difference... I'm sure they slowed down a little but idk

I thought they played pretty well for the season (up until the playoffs). So if they did hit the rookie wall, then next year, now that they have the experience, they both should be monsters.

The rotation did them a big favor, I'd love to keep our DT's in tact.

They didnt hit a wall, they formed one all season.
