I just read that they are picked by the pro bowl coaches. Obviously, Rivera's gonna take JJ.

It actually has nothing to do with that at all... each Pro Bowl head coach must select one special teams 'need' player (which is required to be a long snapper) to fill out the Pro Bowl roster at 43 players per team. This invariably results in the Pro Bowl head coach choosing their own long snapper.

I didn't know Rivera was a probowl coach. How did that happen?
