Do we beat SF if Amini was healthy?

Wharton IMO was an overall upgrade this year of Amini. So I say no.....if Amini was healthy it wouldn't of aided us

Thank God!!!!!  I thought I was the only sane person left.   Amini is a really really bad pass protector.   He is a good not great run blocker.  He has all the physical tools but they have not translated to the field yet on a consistent basis.  People act like Amini was playing at an all pro level when the fact is our line started playing better once he was out.

Those goal line runs may have had a much better outcome. Thoughts?

We beat SF if a QB designed draw play to the outside (IE Kaperdick run) or a screen pass is thrown on the first goal line stand...then the 2nd one we could have run that poo right up the middle because SF would have been looking for the outside draw that we almost always run at goal line.

i think amini and kugbilla both would have made us better on the goal line.

both guys are beasts. i don't expect a whole lot from kug or even amini in pass pro, but short yardage and goal line situations i think those guys are made for....esp. kug.

once we get him in shape next year he could be a big help to the run game.

what would have helped more, tho, is not running the same thing over and over and over when it failed each time.

that and the refs screwing us over constantly.
