TD Gets my vote, having him close to 100% allowed Luke to not cover as many Tight Ends and focus on being a run stopping fiend.. without him we would have had so much trouble in pass coverage and our Defence would not be as devastating as it was. Simply put TD made the most impact on the entire team and that makes him most valuable

How can it not be anyone but Cam. He arguably made the most improvement. He learned to go through his reads more consistently, and play within the scheme of the offense, as taught to him by a "new" OC. He largely played within himself also, and made better decisions with the ball that resulted in less forcing and turnovers. He learned to be patient in the pocket---only relying on his feet as a last resort which kept us on games---even though protection (or a lack thereof) consistently dogged him throughout the regular season and postseason.

 

 

Plus, as has been posted, we probably have at least three less wins without Cam.

Quarterbacks are almost always the MVP in today's NFL, it just goes with the position.  Have a good one, and you have a good chance to win.  Have a decent one, and a good team around him, and you have a good chance to win.  Have a bad one, and you have little chance to win consistently regardless of how good the rest of the team is.

I would actually put TDavis in as second and Cam third for the record. Does not mean I don't place value at all the positions listed but just my opinion

You think Alex Smith would win on this team? Cam put this team on his back against New England. Andy Dalton? Andy Dalton probably has the most talented football team in the league and can't win a playoff game. I can't go down the list but it's quite insulting.

Your biased and that's fine, but one thing I know about Cam Newton is everywhere he goes championships follow.

I voted Thomas Davis, not only for what he has done on the field but what he has done off of it. 

 

Davis was the guy thumping Cam upside the head during workouts "You ready to be a team mate". 

Davis no doubt has a lot of influence on Luke, providing him an example of hard work and dedication.

 

Davis has quietly become an icon for this franchise, from living the Keep Pounding motto to making plays on the field.

Luke has more talent in front of him than any other MLB in the league as well. He's a great player not taking anything away from him, but if we are getting technical he probably lost us the buffalo game, and he got abused against the saints. Let's not act like he played mistake free all year.

Luke's mistakes often get overlooked because of the talent around him.

All I am doing is saying the MLB position was played at a higher level than the QB position was played this season.  If Cam continues to progress, then the QB position will overtake the others.

Cam had a good year and the theory is if we surround him with better talent he will become elite. But we don't know if this will happen. I hope it will.

 

We already tested the theory with Luke and he became elite. Defense made us 12-4 this year

Going outside of the box and giving the MVP award to the Panthers defense; especially the front team. U showed up after two seasons nonexistence. Thanks for helping out ur QB. Thanks for reminding the real believers of this team what consistent winning at the right time of the season feels. Thanks for tataking the Panthers from a 6 and 9, and a7 and 10 season to a 12 and 4 season simply by showing up.

There is a lot of a whole lot of room for growth and improvement to get this team to the next level on both sides of the ball but must give credit where it's due.

If u believe ur QB is playing the role of a normal QB ur delusional. It's clear to see how exceptionally tslented Cam is and how much this team needs him. Buying into any other thought pattern is not only foolish but not seeing the real asset he brings to this team.

Without Cam's legs Shula's offense would have ranked dead last, and by dead last I mean DEAD LAST.

 

Its too bad so many knuckleheads on here can't see that.

 

That would have been true with pretty much any other quarterback save probably Peyton or Rodgers with the weapons here.
