Do we know with certainty that there are no buyout clauses in either of these guys contracts about " failure to perform or unable to perform"?  If there arent that just makes no sense to me - how can you have a guy peddling away on the sidelines for 4 years earning tens of millions of dollars?

 

Those clauses may be in there but I don't think they ever apply to injury and wouldn't affect the guaranteed money anyway

Hopefully we don't make Williams a june 1st cut.  Just let him ride out his contract, as well as Stew.  It will all be over by the 2016 season.  While it hurts now to pay them all that money for nothing, I would rather it hurt now than to pay out dead money later.
