some of these are realistic barring we don't resign hardy or trade him hopefully not...........

WR: Golden tate The guy said he looked up to smitty put him on this damn team if Seattle doesn't sign him back, he can block and has that attitude wr's need in the league.

Jeremy Maclin

Kenny Britt

CB: Brent Grimes easily would sure up the corner position for 3 to 4 years barring injury or better yet Vontae Davis, i know him and smitty had some beef but just like talib you can't pass up guys for that reason alone.

OT: Eugene Monroe if the ravens decide to not resign, also keep a eye on Zack Strief saints might not have enough to sign him back, only problem would be moving gross to LT or vice versa(don't know if that guy could play LT)

resign our guys and let our young de rotate in hardy's place if he isn't resigned BOOM! Superbowl

I especially like Maclin and Grimes.  Maclin has already went on record saying that he would take a small one year deal to prove his worth.  That is Gettleman's bread and butter.  This kid will still be explosive.  Grimes is disciplined, has talent, tackles well, and is hardly ever out of position.  He will come cheap as he doesn't have that hype surrounding him from years back.

Some of the guys mentioned in this thread would be great.  I hope that either Maclin and/or Britt is on the team's radar.  Maclin has already alluded to the fact that the torn ACL may scare some teams off, so he is willing to do a one year (prove-it) deal, and Kenny Britt has to prove not only that his body is right, but his mind also. Britt would be a relatively low risk, great reward pick-up.

I don't see us getting Verner or Grimes in the backfield because I believe that they'll probably command more money. Plus, I don't think that their respective teams are going to be trying to let them go anywhere based on their play and cap room.

Again, I think that we should give Fred Davis a serious look. He is still relatively young, and talented as well. He is kind of in the same situation as Britt.

Maclin, Britt or Davis would be a "tactical" strike, no doubt, but could make a prolific splash at a very good bargain.

if we'd just signed those two that would give us a bunch of good opportunities in the draft, Grimes comes to play week in and out and would be a very good fit here IMO, the guy has excellent ball skills as well.

I'm really high on Tate as well
