Wharton isn't bad but he is getting old and we need to build a young and stronger OL around Kalil. Wharton got pushed back at goal line which caused Tolbert to trip. Imagine if you had Gabe Jackson or Cyril Richardson at LG we would have punched it.

DG will address needs before the draft. like he did last year. we will have to watch what happens with hardy before any real guesses as to what they do can be made.  I do feel they will draft atleast 2 OL at some point in the draft.

He would be a solid backup , but when he was on Gross he said he doesn't know if he can take another season of football.

I see Geoff Schwartz is available in free agency, I know the huddle will kill me for suggesting Geoff. I say we can get one Offensive lineman with experience from free agency on a one year deal, then load up in the draft. We also get Kugbilla and Silatolu back. What say you about Bruce Campbell should we bring him back?

I fully expect Gettleman to throw the Hog Molly theme out the window on draft day if that is what the market calls for.

 

Sort of like what we saw with secondary/og this year... It does not make sense to overpay/overdraft just because of need.

I think we will see a good amount of movement on the OL in free agency.

That's not how I saw it. I saw Wharton pulling from the LG spot and tripping on his pull. He didn't get pushed back.
