IMO this doesn't just apply to QBs but rather to any player's counterpart he isn't competing directly against. If Aldon Smith sacks Cam it would be expected for him to do the superman. But if he sacks Ponder it would be weird/disrespectful to do the Jared Allen calf roping dance.

Why are you some of you getting so hot about this? Von miller did it when he sacked cam last year and other players have done it, I don't like Kap at all I think he conducts himself like a douchebag and is vastly overated on a team full of stud players where most qbs would look elite but he scored a td prob the the game winner and was picked later than cam in the draft I mean if you had the chance to take a lil swipe and a huge scoop of take that! Wouldn't you? It's just gamesmanship and I don't really care and nor should cam what we should care about is how good we made him look Sunday compared to at candlestick week ten.

You expect it from defensive players though, they are actually going up against Cam. Opposing qb's are supposed to have a mutual respect for each other, or at least not be blatantly disrespectful. Thats pretty much the same thing as Kaepernick saying "fug cam newton" in a press conference.

Difference is Kaep didnt get drafted to a 2 win team. San Fran been building their team for how many years now? Yet we got to the same place they got and it's a learning experience and we just have to get even better, get better players

I actually agree with LT on this one. During the game, I don't like it, but don't see it as an issue. After the game, though, you can see the insecurity in his antics.

He said on twitter after the win that he used to be known as kryptonite when he was in college. The kid is obviously seeking attention. Kid barely completed 50% of his passes and only threw for 196 yet thrash talking. The standard must be pretty low for him.
