aside from krappernick extremely obvious insecurity about Cam Newton, can a few of you "traditionalists" also get the fug over Cam's first down and TD celebrations with this "I like my QB to shut teh fug up and only win football games" bullshit..

The twitter stuff was uncalled for. I guess to Kaepernick his muscle kissing crap is not catching on so he is trying to latch on something Cam created with blood and sweat during a 3 year period of breaking records. Kaepernick should already know that the superman celebration is already a brand and that he should create his own brand. Completing less than 60% of his passes with all those weapons is not gonna create you a brand. Cam is a brand, baby!

Agree. First of all, Cam opens himself up to this by doing that Superman bit every time he scores. Added to that the first down "point" every time he gets us a first down. Added to this also, one of our players (if not others) mocked Kap in the last game with the bicep kiss/elbow bow or whatever that crap it (someone here has that gif as their sig)

 

Its not a big deal. Insulting to us...yes...but its not as if we havent, or wouldnt have done the same darn thing.

Get over it? Hell I loved it. Makes him look like a dick. A defensive player mocking him after a good play is one thing, but a QB doing it? No class at all. I am soooo grateful not to be a 49er fan and have to pull for that jerk.

I dont care about players mocking other players. Part of the game. What I HATE is when you go to NFL.com, all you see is Krapernick doing the SUPERMAN. NFL.COM should not be allowed to mock players.

Personally viewing it I thought he looked a dick!! but I'd be happy if a player tried to imitate brandon lafell dropping a ball in the endzone next season as a td celebration against us, that would be more relevant and funnier

When you're winning you have every right to do as you please. As much as I hated it, I wouldn't have minded Cam doing the same if the roles were reversed.

Usually QBs have a code and they show respect to the other QBs. You wouldn't see Rodgers, Brady, Brees, Manning etc. mocking the other teams QB. In fact I cannot come up with any QBs that disrespect each other. I guess that does show his immaturity. Just makes him look foolish which isn't hard.

He really isn't a good QB either. He does not read defenses and locks into one receiver. He is a great athlete which helps him when his one receiver is covered and he has many weapons.

Only one of these QB's: Rodgers, Brady, Brees and P. Manning gives something to mock; Rodgers. But you're right in the fact that I haven't seen anyone mock Rodgers. Cam and Cap are both show-mans and likes the spotlight, Cam loves it. When you give them something, they will use it against you. Instead of giving them a celebration to mock, give them excellent game play instead.
