Shula may not be Norv Turner/Chud, but he's been doing well. I love the way he's managing this offense. This is how you win game in the NFL: manage, run the ball, and play hard defense. I dont want an offense that scores every 3 min. I want an offense that takes time off the board and still score. Exactly what Shula is doing. He just need more weapons to work with and especially a running game. When he has that, the offense will open up.

I will just add this, there is a reason that Turner/Chud teams always have a lot of yards, but not a lot of wins

That's my point.

You're also putting your defense out on the field a damn lot. And, when your defense is on the field a damn lot they get tired. When they get tired, the opponents are scoring a damn lot.

If we had talent for a power run game.....play calling would look better

any OC would be flawed with this O in reality. Shula's at least played to our D. That let us win games. Crazy Chud ball would have worked against the D.

Agreed. Shula was working with LaFell, Ginn, an aging Smitty in terms of WRs. That combined with our patchwork interior O-line made his job more difficult than people want to admit.

i'd like to add that we didn't have alot of season ending injuries on defense as well, could be that they were well rested
